The front desk staff were very friendly and pleasant. In general , every member of the staff we dealt with, were very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable and well made. We enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to go back because of the wonderful staff and the amenities that are available

Stayed at this hotel in mid-August. Antiquated A/C unit cycled on and off throughout the night, beginning each On cycle with a loud bang. In the morning, found there was no hot water for our showers. Waited a half hour, and finally had to settle for water that was cool, but survivable.

This hotel was in a convenient location, near the tourist attractions and a short ride to the Burlington Downtown shopping area. I recommend it.

Front desk was great, rooms clean, easy in and out of downtown Burlington, only issue at all was the wireless internet wasn't great - slow and kept dropping out on us.

We decided to do a last minute trip to Burlington. Holiday Inn Express is our back up brand when there is no availability at our usual chain. Quite frankly, we were disappointed in our stay. The room was tired and in dire need of a deep cleaning and basic maintenance with trim pulling away from the wall, and stains (presumably spilled coffee) on a wall. There was lots of dust on light fixtures and other surfaces. (I didn't check on the places I couldn't see). The mattress I slept on was old and soft and it felt like it leaned to one side. Perhaps I was dreaming. I know I wasn't dreaming about the slow internet service or the TV remote that worked sometimes and not others. We were also wide awake when we took our showers in tepid water. I needed to write down a message but alas, there was no pad and pen.
The staff was adequate. We went down for breakfast at 9 am to find no cut fruit, no eggs, no bacon and no cinnamon rolls. The attendant was busy cooking away and the dishes came out one at a time. Perhaps there was a wave of folks who came through and took it all. Don't know.
The hotel doesn't know how my stay was because I wasn't asked at check out at which time I would have said something. When they don't ask, the management really doesn't care so what's the point. Our plans changed and we stayed in South Burlington for another night. Needless to stay, we went elsewhere.
