Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing and Convenient Location The hotel was very quiet and we were not bothered by hall noise or wake ups by cleaning staff. WE WERE TOTALY DISAPPOINTED THAT THERE WAS NOT A HOT TUB! That would have made the visit even more relaxing. The hotel was convenient to South Haven and to Saugatuck. Great Location! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Get breakfast early. The person who checked me in was very nice and helpful. Requested and received extra coffee. Got up to room to find out it didn't have the Keurig as she had thought. To tired to go back down. Went to breakfast at 9 AM. Very disappointed. Granted they were only serving for 30 more minutes but they were out of quite a few things and not tidy at all. Two families came down minutes after I did. One of the fathers went to the front desk to complain. The lady taking care of the area came out and put a tray of rolls out but nothing else. She did tidy up a little but not much. I did tell the front desk agent upon check out and she said she would give me back some priority points. I chose this hotel because it offered breakfast. April 4, 2016

We stayed for two nights but under two separate reservations but they made it easy to make sure we wouldn't have to change rooms. She also recommended a wonderful restaurant in town. The cost is a bit higher than most of the other Holiday Inn Express locations we've stayed at, but it's a popular vacation spot in Michigan. March 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extreme Unexpected Charges We stayed at this hotel for two nights. When we got home after our stay, we noticed a charge to our bank account. We immediately called. The general manager told us that our child had urinated on the bed, and we were required to replace the bed and box springs. They told us that there was still to be another charge that we still owed. I called the site who we booked through. They immediately called the hotel as well. The story changed when it was discussed with them. They told them that we broke the beds; that the urination had nothing to do with it. The story obviously changed when they got called out. I will be calling them back here shortly to ask check them about their story changing, and ask where my bed that I should now own is. I mean.. I'll gladly clean it myself for $15. March 13, 2016
