Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jacksonville Holiday Inn 7 night stay The overall appearance of the facility is nice and is conveniently located near I-72. The outside and entrance are quite pleasing and the hotel staff were pleasant and nice to deal with. The room left me wanting more. The TV was not programmed properly as the local channels had changed and the tv guide card did not reflect that change. The toilet handle had a problem and was stuck. The bathroom door was out of alignment and so it would not latch. You could close it but it would not shut all the way. The internet seemed sufficiently fast for work use. The breakfast had a nice selection of eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, pancake making machine, cereal, muffins, etc. The area was clean and the coffee was hot. I would have rated this hotel much higher if the attention to details were met in the room. The room was clean (there was one day though that the maid never came) but the TV was aging and some maintenance was needed in the bathroom. November 20, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice I have stayed here many times, and it is always a nice experience. Such pleasant and helpful staff, and really clean rooms. The only thing I would suggest, is that frequently, the room has only one hanger. I am typically here for business and have a few suits to hang. I always get more when asked, but it might be better to have more in the rooms. Other than this very minor thing, I like this hotel, and plan on staying again next time I am in Jacksonville. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shower head needs love We stayed in a handicap accessible room and found that the shower head had a separation from the flexible hose. It was a weekend, and not a show-stopper, so we did mention it to the night clerk on Saturday night. He made a note so that it could be repaired on Monday. In addition, he did a small, but appreciated adjustment to our bill. Thanks for hiring such a helpful young man. October 29, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by More Turkey Sausage It was a little noisy that night because there were soccer teams staying there but they did quiet down fairly early. Other than that, it was fine but the breakfast offered no meat but Turkey sausage. It also wouldn't hurt if Holiday Inn Expresses would vary their breakfast menus a little.
