our check-in went smoothly. we had a 2 queen bed suite with hideabed couch. spacious room to hold multiple persons. very nice breakfast selection the next morning.

I stay at a LOT of Holiday Inns...this one was not satisfactory. No acknowledgement of Member status, items normally in the room missing (coffee, cups, etc.) and this is the only HI I have every stayed in that did not have a protein at breakfast.

From the night front desk man (sorry I can't remember his name) to Wanda serving the hot complimentary breakfast, everything was just as it should be in a home-away-from-home setting! Staff was friendly, accommodating, informational for local activities, and food was good, fresh, and hot. There was plenty available even though we came into the breakfast area at the end of the serving time. Our room was clean with just the right amount of furnishings and the cleaning staff was pleasant and friendly, too. We will keep this "HI" on file for future trips to the area. After just traveling 4000+ miles and on our return trip home, the bed was so comfortable my husband wished he could stay another couple of nights if family couldn't accommodate us as planned and I slept the best I had on this long trip! Thanks for a memorabble stay!

Not only did I not receive points for stay, I also did not receive comp points instead of snack/water. Why are some stays qualified and some not? There are several other motel choices that do award points for ALL stay.

The Customer service is wonderful. Everyone that works here is very nice and will do anything to make your stay better. We stayed here for two weeks and they made it feel like home. CJ is the best front desk servcice personal. He would help with anything.

We have almost become "regulars" at this Holiday Inn as we visit Jacksonville about eight times a year. From the first time we stayed here two years ago we made it a point to reserve our room for the following year. The location is perfect which lends itself to a nice quiet evening. The room is very comfortable and roomy especially since my wife is in a power chair. In the morning I always ask her what she wants for breakfast because there is such a variety. We will miss staying here our grandson will be graduating from Illinois College this year.

Hotel has the friendliest staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good hot breakfast buffet choices and decent sized indoor pool and hot tub.

Everything was good except the night we are there the hot tub was closed. Also would be nice to have the fan running without the heat(or ac).
Breakfast was decent too! Loved the pancake machine!

Treated us well even when arriving late after a long day of driving! Wish we would have had time to stay longer but had to be on our way to view Lincoln's home in nearby Springfield and more.

Made a reservation via phone directly with the hotel. Woman on the phone was extremely friendly and polite from the very beginning and even more so after learning that we were coming into town for my mother's funeral. The night before arrival I phoned and asked if there was any way to get an early check in due to trying to leave home early ahead of a bad winter storm. The gentleman on the phone was very understanding and accommodating. After returning from the visitation the next evening I started to run a fever. I called the front desk to ask if there was any chance they had some fever reducer for sale and was completely surprised when they informed me that they did had packets of some available at no charge. What was maybe a little thing for them was a HUGE thing for me! Room was as expected-clean and comfortable. And the fridge & microwave in the room were a convenient perk. The free paper and breakfast were added benefits as well. I will definitely stay here any time I am in town.

Great hotel for the amount of time we spent in Jacksonville. All staff were cordial and extremely helpful. Housekeeping was exceptional. We will stay at this hotel every time we visit our daughter and her family.

I was not recognized as being a club member upon check in, the rate was a little high for the location. The room looked like it was decorated with furniture from Big Lots. It felt very generic. The whole floor plan of the building is very industrial and confining. Elevator is down the main hallway and in to a small room where the snacks are. When I went to breakfast I walked in on a guy that had just drunk spoiled milk from the refrigerator. The attendant did not have any concern and offered the guy a milk with 11/18 on it. She had no concern that she gave out rotten food. She acted as if I was in her way when she was putting more food out.
Overall, there should be some more training on customer service. I'm sure you can do better.

From the time I contacted the Holiday Inn Express in Jacksonville, IL, for help with our wedding event, I was very impressed with their customer service. We worked with Larissa for the planning of a block of rooms for our wedding event, and she was very gracious and accommodating from beginning to end! We booked a large number of rooms for our family and friends, and everyone said their rooms were "perfect!" The morning after our event, we all met down in the breakfast area, and the staff kept up with our large crowd ... there was never a time when anyone was waiting for anything! We were extremely happy with our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful room, great hot tub (adults only 10-midnight) and a very reasonable check out time. I am gluten intolerant and seldom get breakfast at a motel, but I had a hard cooked egg and yogurt that I could eat!

The rooms were very pretty and spacious. We stayed 2 days and the hotel was very busy. We got up and left our room in the morning and came back in the afternoon expecting our room to have been cleaned and fresh towels and there was not. This is kinda a good thing because when I was sitting on my bed and looked down at the comforter I had noticed blood stain on the comforter and it was not mine.

Kyle, evening desk person, graciously changed my room after the dog next door to my original room started barking soon after my arrival. Kyle also recommended restaurants for dinner and provided a map. Location right off I-72 and gas station nearby.

Steve made a great first impression for Holiday Inn Express. He quickly got us checked in and to our room. This was fabulous for my bunch of weary travelers. The room was spacious and everyone had enough room to relax. The children loved the indoor pool; and I enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was hot and the staff made sure everything was restocked in a timely manner. Steve gave us information about the fair and car show for later that evening.
