We felt very safe and enjoyed the easy access to the outings and adventures that we experienced during our stay. It was very nice to return to a nice clean room and hot shower, as well as enjoying the hot tub and pool facilities. April 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Time in SPI Staying at this hotel was great with low price and location to the beach. The room we booked was a great one with view of the pool, which we did not get to use during our stay but it looked awesome with water fountains there as well which I think my little one would have enjoyed. As I mentioned the room was great with microwave and refrigerator, very spacious with king size bed and sofa, table with two seats and lounge table. The room was very clean when we got there and the air conditioning worked great as well. The only bad thing I noted from this stay was the reception to the WiFi that was complementary during my stay. Only negatives were the hot water was slow to make it to our room on the 4th floor. And only one elevator was working and it was very slow. Front desk clerk said the owner knows about it and needs to replace them both. Overall we had a good experience staying here. April 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Just not good... This was a hotel for a business meeting. Wife came because of the location. It needs a lot of work. Room was smelly. A/C didn't work right, even though we reported the problem and they tried to fix it. Still required getting up every hour or so and turning the unit off and back on. Beds were not comfortable, at all. Who designed these toilets? You have to put the seat and lid down to flush them! WHY? Food for breakfast was nasty - microwaved food? Pancake machine was cool, but made really bad pancakes. Coffee seemed always "out". Fish tank in the area had a lot of dead fish in it. Just seemed like a tired old hotel, with managers that don't really care. Group decided not to go back. April 5, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by South Padre during Spring Break Hotel was at a good location. Because of Spring Break, we saw theft on the day we arrived. Management or front desk staff was short and was wanting to get people checked in and out so they refrain from having a conversation. Breakfast had good choices in variety of food. March 28, 2016
