Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Swimming Pool Closed Read previous reviews and noticed swimming pool was closed for remodeling. Didn't know if I should book or not but I seen on their website that the pool would be open February 1st. Went ahead and booked our stay based off that date. Got there on February 1st and pool was still closed for remodeling. They weren't even close to being done. Very disappointing!!!!! Could not sit at the beach because of windy conditions so I was hoping to sit by the pool - no such luck. Needless to say, we shortened our stay. The hotel had 2 elevators with only one working. We were told by other guests that the one elevator had NOT been working for a month already. Really???? Person working at the front desk during the day could of been a little more friendlier. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 front desk First of all let me say I am typing this on an I phone. And I apologize for brevity or typos. Front desk on checkin was awesome. Also handled some mistakes on my end with confirmation call. I apparently requested a room for 4 vs 4 rooms. Both people on phone were awesome. And front desk guy at check in was awesome. We were offered a cheaper rate at isla grand and passed. This hotel is our pick. Every trip. Keep it up. Love the place. Rooms. Service which is what makes or breaks you. Big thumbs up.
