Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Surprisingly awesome After reviewing some of the reviews on several websites I was iffy at first. But this hotel wowed me. The staff went beyond the line of duty and made sure not only myself but made sure other guests were satisfied. The room was very spacious and clean. Vanessa, the breakfast lady, was wonderful to talk to. I have stayed at several other hotels in the Southfield area but this place will be receiving my business from now. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by passing through upon arrival we were greeted as IHG members and welcomed to the hotel. the lady that received us was pleasant, helpful, informative, and very cheerful. it was a great experience being helped by her. the room met our expectations. we decided to locally get something to eat, and again, our reservation lady helped us with a variety of suggestions, which included her calling a cab for us, so we could enjoy our evening plans. thanks again for a clean room, a comfy sleep, and helpfulness to enjoy our evening. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Average service The hotel was pretty clean and the staff was polite. My only complaint was with the breakfast. The sausage patties were horrible! However the rest of the breakfast wasn't too bad. They even had a pancake maker. April 23, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by good location, noisy and no internet I used this property in the past however never again. Hotel is noisy and window was drafting. The worst part was the internet. It was so slow, I spoke to the front desk and they did not offer any help. In the morning, I was told they have troubles and should be OK soon. for two nights I could not do work in my room and had to go to a coffee shop across the street to work. April 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expect from Holiday Inn Express I use the brand frequently, mostly for business. Second time I use this particular hotel and for the second time I was not greeted as a IHG Club member. The hotel was fully booked so I could not get a suite as I always do. They offered to relocate me when the hotel had room but they did not let me know when there was a suite available, I had to check with the front desk. The room was noisy from the next door room as the walls seem to be too thin and the guests next door too loud. There was no room service or dinner service. The facilities seem old or poorly kept.
