Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Stay I went to go visit my sister who started working in Bristol, CT and I needed somewhere to stay that was affordable. I stayed 6 nights at the Holiday Inn Express Southington. First off, I have to say the free breakfast buffet in the morning was wonderful. A great start to every morning. Lots of variety, fresh, warm, quality food every single day. The tables were clean, well kept the entire time. The staff was very attentive. If foods ran out or weren't warm enough they would put fresh food out again.The front desk staff were welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable -- had a microwave and mini fridge. The gym was small but perfect for a bit of cardio each day. The hotel is very well situated next to the highway -- easy to travel. During my stay I was able to visit West Hartford - CT, Boston, NYC and NJ. Also, near the hotel you will find all sorts of restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. Very convenient location. I give this hotel 5 stars for service, cleanliness, convenience and value!! January 7, 2015

The reason is because I am always treated like a family member. From the greeting I receive at the front desk to the conversations with the staff during breakfast, I am never treated as a stranger but rather as an old friend. December 21, 2014
