From the moment we walked in the door the staff at the hotel bent over backwards to make us feel at home. The breakfasts at the hotels are generally not worth eating but the cinnamon buns were like Gramas. A special hats off to both Rebecca & Jose both of them should get a raise.

From the Front Desk staff to the breakfast choices, I found this to be a great place to stay when traveling for business.
The room was modern, clean, and well appointed.
I will definately stay again when in the area on business.

The Hotel was very clean and beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly made me feel welcome. Breakfast was awesome. The room was very clean and free from dust, smell fresh. It was so relaxing and quiet, the bed was so comfortable
I did not want to get up. I will recommend this hotel to all my
families, friends and co-workers. It's was so quiet and peaceful.
I rate this Hotel a Five Stars. The hotel overall was very clean
and fresh and free from dust. Everytime I am in the Houston area this is my Hotel.

Twice the cost of La Quinta, but they have more smoking locations,
and are pretty much the same as HIE.
This location was listed as smoking on website, this is 2nd time that when I checked in
it wasn’t smoking as stated on website.

We made our reservation through the 800 number and it got screwed up. I wanted a two queen room on the first floor because my son has a broken foot and doing the stairs is difficult. I was told they don't have any of those rooms available and had to opt for the more expensive king bed business suite. When we arrived we were given a room on the second floor. I asked Brandon who was working behind the desk if we could get the first floor. He checked and said that only two queen bed rooms were available on the first floor. I explained that, that is what I had wanted originally anyway so we would take that. The two queen bed rooms were less expensive by a good amount. We got to room 135 and walked in and there was a strong stale urine smell. I went back to Brandon at the front desk and told him about it. He immediately moved us to another two queen room on the first floor. That room was fine except for an air condition unit that didn't work properly, but that wasn't a problem and we didn't do anything about it because we had very moderate weather and didn't need a lot of air conditioning. Throughout the check in process Brandon was very busy but yet very polite and helpful. The rooms seemed clean but the smell in 135 was very strong and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The location was good for us and we didn't have any problems with too much noise from the highway or the other guests. WIth two, two queen bed rooms available on the first floor when we arrived, I wonder why we were forced to make reservations for a more expensive room and why with the request for a first floor room because of medical conditions, we weren't initially assigned to a room on the first floor. Had the hotel been full when we arrived, as we were told it would be by the reservatons desk, we would have been stuck walking the stairs with my son's broken foot or having to go all the way to the elevator each time.

this is a great place to stay if you are working or needing a place to stay close to the airport for a early flight. great people at the front desk and very helpfull - other Holiday Inn's need to lear from these folks

We have stayed at this Holiday Express several times. We have never been disappointed . The staff is always very cordial and the breakfast is always great. We stay at Holiday Express whenever we travel if possible. It is the best value on s small budget.

We really did enjoyed our visit, other than a roach in the one of rooms, toilet over flowed in our room, and one small issue work being done outside our room, tape and float, and painting. We really did enjoy the breakfast bar with variety to eat. Over all good experience, just wanted to point this out these point, Thank you.
3 rooms were rented for two nights each.

Not the best location, but adequate. Close to restaurants and shopping. Front desk was very prompt and friendly at check-in and recognized my Priority Club GOLD status. Breakfast was late getting out by about 20 minutes, but satisfying when it was ready.

This was our first time staying at this property and we'll probably return since it's about 5 minutes from the offices of one of our clients.
I was surprised -- this is the first property that failed to greet me as a Platinum Member and provide a modest, you're just like everyone else welcome. The hotel was booked solid, so our room wasn't upgraded on our first night, with no follow-ups for possible upgrades for our additional nights as promised.
The hotel itself was clean, well-appointed and above average compared to many other HI Express locations. Food choices, while limited and less than healthy, were typical.
If you're like us and need fast wireless internet, you'll be pleased here. WIFI was far above average for Holiday Inn Express locations.
The staff, aside from check-in, was incredible, helpful and polite. If you need a solid, budget-concious choice for your next business trip, this is an outstanding place to stay.

Comfortable bed. Room and bathroom were very clean. Did not hear noise from other rooms. Breakfast choices were rather limited. Had a pancake maker instead of a waffle maker. We were there three days and never saw anyone use it. When we have stayed anywhere with a waffle maker, there was a line for its use.

The fitness facility has the potential to be very good. It is a large room with a nice Universal-type weight set. However, the cardio equipment needs to be repaired or hopefully replaced. There are two ellipticals, both of which make loud noises and the display on one doesn't work. There are also two older treadmills that work OK, but they've seen better days. It would be nice if they added a recumbent bike.
The rest of the property is updated, clean, and in good working order. The breakfast and "happy hour" are good. Adequate parking and nice touches for Priority Club members.

As I am traveling everyweek it was not a suprise for me to pick this place. I have never stayed at this location but it was close to my bussiness apt. They were Wonderful in every way and believe me I WILL BE BACK..... Not every Hoilday Inn is the same
and I have added this location to my Favorites.

Why your location doesn't have local papers on weekends is a missing add on that you could have for your travelers. Providing the usa today is good, but they don't print a Sat or Sun. paper.

I just attended two workshops for Nikon camera systems in this hotel.
My experience in the hotel was top notch from start to finish. The conference rooms were comfortable, and the hotel rooms themselves were a good bargain.
The staff was very professional, and totally attentive to all my needs, and I really appreciated that.

From the wonderful greeting to the comfortable room and I was please with this hotel. It was close to our destination. The room had everything, plates, utensils, glasses, microwave, refrigerator and small kitchenette, It was large and the bed was comfortable. It was the most comfortable Holiday Inn I have stayed in, Anytime any one needs a room in Houston I will recommend this hotel.

Everything about the room was perfect. From the microwave and refrigerator, to the plates and utensil. I was not expecting these comforts from the room. My husband and I were able to enjoy the dinner we had in the room and the breakfast the following morning was terrific. This was one of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed in.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was clean and the housekeepers were really nice when I asked for extra items. The only issue we ran into was with the jacuzzi/hot tub, it was not hot. Although we were in there past the 10 pm closing (2 am) the manager did apologize for the inconvenience however the steam sauna was nice. Also, I left my camera in the hotel room and contacted the manager immediately, needless to say, it will be shipped to me within 3 days, per my request to avoid paying high overnight fees. I would def stay here again and refer others to this hotel. It was close to the Sports complex and close to a ton of eating places and a grocery store. Thanks Thomas (Manager) for following up with me so quickly on my camera and for sending it to me. I will be back next year!!
