Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ballgame stay this property is the (BEST) HIXP i've ever stayed in. from the customer service reps who greeted me, the cleanliness of the room, the housekeeping staff, the breakfast staff and last but not least, the personnel look, smiles, uniforms, etc. hats off to who trains you staff. they have done a ubove and beyond job. i look forward coming down to springfield to enjoy your beautiful property and watch the springfield cardinals. One pays for the convenience (it can be a little more expensive than other hotels near the airport and/or highway I-44) but doesn't dissapoint. July 4, 2014

The room was clean, the breakfast was great and the pool was just what the kids needed for our brief stay. It's also close to many things that Springfield has to offer. July 3, 2014

We were able to view the fireworks from our room and walk to the field. We also enjoyed the expanded, varied selection of the breakfast room. July 2, 2014

Within walking distance of restaurants and a grocery and drug store. Staff was VERY friendly. Room and beds were comfortable and the pool was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again if the opportunity presents itself. June 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WOW!!! First class Holiday Inn one I've been to yet (and I've been to quite a few). The staff was beyond amazing - you'd think you were staying at the Ritz Carlton.....the facility is first class....never know that it was 7 years old - it looks brand new. The place is phenomenal. The only negative was the standard complaint I have about all Holiday Inn Express locations - the breakfast. As a business traveler, I look for 3 major things - good WiFi, a clean safe locale, and a decent breakfast.....the only thing I'd upgrade is the breakfast. Overall - pick this hotel with confidence, you won't be disappointed. One more thing - while I was there, I heard a commotion by the pool (outdoor and 1st class BTW) at about noon. I looked out my window and saw the entire service staff out there with a man (I'm guessing their boss) seated in a looked like he lost some sort of bet - the staff grabbed a couple of 33 gallon trash cans filled with ice and water and dumped it on him! Awesome - realized at that moment just exactly why the staff treated me like royalty....they enjoy their job, their boss and the company they work for....Kudos to the management a HIE! June 23, 2014
