Aprreciated the friendly service, but would have greatly appreciated a full reimbursement when bad weather was "expected" and we had to change our outdoor plans in Branson (where we have been stuck in ice/snow for a wk before). We opted to get on the road before it came in and were charged a half day rate. We were just 2 hrs past the allowed 2 p.m. check out for Priority Club Members. Getting out of the room was a last minute/hurry up decision. The maids cheerfully said that they wouldn't be cleaning the room until the next day anyway. We were charged half rate for those 2 hrs, even though the hotel wasn't in need of the room!

Our stay was for 4 nights. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. We slept great, which isn't typical in motels! The maid service was very good and the front desk very helpful. Breakfast was fine with a pretty good selection. The motel is situated conveniently to the places we needed to drive to.

Overall this was a very nice hotel. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative part of our stay was the pool. It is super small (just a little over double the size of the hot tub). It is much smaller than it looks in the pictures on the hotel website.

I HAVE STAYED IN SEVERAL HOLIDAY INN'S AN HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THE ROOM/HELP AN ATMOSPHERE...THIS IS THE FIRST ONE WHERE THE BREAKFAST WAS SUB PAR ..GRAVEY COOL/THICK AN PASTY IN TASTE BISCUTS WHERE TOUGH...SWEET ROLLS WHERE DOUGHY FROM BEING STEAMED UNDER LIGHTS ...THIS IS NOTHING THAT WOULD KEEP ME FROM STAYING HERE AGINE AN I WOULD RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO FAMILY AN FRIENDS..........

What a great hotel. One of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The service is great. I did not want to leave this hotel, thats how nice it is. Service that you would expect at a five star hotel. I wish all Holiday Inn Express hotels were like this one. I will be back. Thanks for a very special stay.

Everyone we interacted with was very nice and hospitable. Especially the woman that worked the breakfast area, she was very kind and very hospitable towards everyone. We got the feeling that she was part of the family by the end of the week. We came to Springfield for a family vacation for the holidays and our stay was entirely on Priority Club reward points, but if I was in the area again we would definitely stay at this location. it was close to everything, yet off the beaten path just enough.

...This is the very best HI Express. I stay at many of these types of hotels and the HI Express in Springfield is second to none. The staff is the very best. They treat you as if you are in the finest of finest hotels. I look forward to ever visit to the Springfield Area.

This is a very nice hotel. Our room was large and we appreciated the sitting area. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. Bathroom and room were both clean and well appointed.
But I was disappointed in the very small pool, with a ledge all around the outside, making an area for actual SWIMMING almost impossible to find. And then when I wanted to use the hot tub I discovered that it was stone cold. Not tepid, but COLD! I called the front desk and she said maintenance would be in within and hour, but it was almost 7 AM, and we needed to get our breakfast and get on our way. By the time that pool would have been warm, assuming that it had been fixed at all, we would have been two or three hours down the road!
I swim, usually both evening and morning, at every hotel where we stay. I probably wouldn't return to this one because of the pool. We stayed here because of its proximity to a function we were attending and except for this feature it was a fine place.

I can't remember the name of the young girl working the front desk, but she was extremely professional, helpful, friendly, and pleasant.
She helped us with directions that we needed, and also pointed out restaurants in the area, even offering us a coupon for some of them, and then she went so far as to look up the time of a movie we were thinking about seeing. She wasn't just doing her job, she was just plain friendly and genuinely helpful! The hotel was very clean and very beautiful as well.

My wife and I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express on two occasions and enjoyed our stay. Stronger WiFi is needed on the 4th floor, but other than that -- no complaints at all.

Wonderful service and attention from front desk and all other staff. Beds comfortable. Fridge and microwave in clean, bright room. Fabulous breakfast choices. Also, for dinner, Texas Roadhouse is next door and they are awesome.

The staff was excellent. When I came in, a large school group was in the lobby, a wedding party was checking in, and a lady was having them run room charges on different cards. Through all this, the young lady behind the counter remained cool and calm. Not sure I would've. The only thing that surprised me was the noise that came through the wall in the room. At night when I laid down, I could clearly hear the people next door speaking, and they weren't even talking that loudly. Thankfully, they weren't up too late. Besides that, it was a very pleasant experience.

Due to a family member being hospitalized, I stayed here several times. It is only 5 minutes to Cox Medical Center. The rooms were very clean - which I am a stickler about - and nice & roomy. The staff was great & breakfast was good. Highly recommend.
