Due to an emergency, I needed an extended stay in an area hotel -- this Holiday inn Express met the need. I lived there for three weeks. Not only was the room kept comfortable and clean for the time I stayed, but the microwave and refrigerator were extremely handy to have use of. The hotel in general is pleasant, has good light and good air circulation; pictures of local Vermont scenes were good to see, helped make the place seem more individual and not just a generic hotel. In general the decor was pleasant, low key, and attractive. Staff were friendly and accomodating, the maids in particular are very nice and hard working, and the front desk staff always ready to help with any questions. Noise level was very good -- I could hear nothing from others when in my room. Breakfast included a nice variety of hot and cold -- and there was always coffee and fruit available during the rest of the day. I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone coming to the Springfield VT area and would stay here again myself.

This is a very clean, updated (new) property. Could not find anything to criticize. Asked for a "quiet room" and was accommodated by being located far from the elevator and not on the traffic-side of the hotel. Bedding was more than comfortable. Bathroom amenities were adequate. A truly clean appearance and no odor to the room. Located just off the highway for quick access. Front desk had many ideas for dining options in the immediate area.

the rooms are phyically very good I had a suite exception squeeky floor board and the heat in the room was too hot maintaince said it was because it was the end of winter season so all you could do to cool room is open window to 38 degree temps. Next morning day crew said that it was not true and you can control heat. They did this to Platinum card can you think what they would do for once and out customer.
Also the rungs on chairs in breakfast area were very dusty
