Arrived after 12:30am. Needed a place to sleep for 6 hours before continuing our journey. Property across the street offered a $10 discount, but we decided to stay at Holiday Inn, to get points. Mentioned to front desk clerk that I was a priority club member, but I see no record of that on my check out statement?
I would have stayed across the street knowing this.

None of the four of us had ever stayed at the hotel before. We liked the decor and updates throughout the hotel. Loved the carpeting!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and we liked the fruit that was available in the lobby. The room was suited to our purposes. Our only complaints were the sofa was extremely dirty underneath. Some of the dishes in the cupboards were also dirty. The towels were a little stiff and not very fluffy, but certainly adequate. The beds and pillows were great! Overall, we were all pleased with out stay and would recommend it to others.

Were met with friendly front desk staff. Room was clean and smelled clean. Beds were on the firm side and newer. The breakfast area and selections were really good. Used the pool and hot tub areas and was all well kept. The wall heater/ac unit did become a little noisy after running for awhile. Would stay again.

Overall this hotel is in pretty good shape. They have spent considerable money to upgrade the lobby recently and it looks wonderful and still smells of new carpet, tile and the chemicals that go with it. However, some of that money could be used to upgrade some of the beds instead. The room I had was clean and well take care of, but a little worn. The bottles were half filled of product (and therefore I did not use any of them since they were not sealed) and the bed was horrid. It was lumpy and hard. I tossed and turned almost all night. This is the first time I have had a bad bed at a Holiday Inn Express. Maybe it was just a fluke in the room. The hotel is RIGHT off the interstate and sandwiched between 2 truck stops, about 5-7 miles from town. Luckily, they have done a good job of insulating the walls as the noise from the trucks nor the freeway was noticeable.
