Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good but not Great The price was great and the location was perfect. I came across two problems while staying here. One, the Jacuzzi tub had dirt coming out of the faucet. I was very disappointed by this. Also, I noticed that the welcome packet from the people who stayed there last was still in the room which worried me. I was afraid that they didn't clean the room like they are supposed to. I didn't bring the problem up with the front desk when we were leaving because she didn't say one word to me or even smile. As an employee of Holiday Inn Express I don't find that very acceptable. May 23, 2015

This hotel is located just outside of the main business area, with the ability to walk to and from downtown eateries or just to visit and view the marina and town. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Had a wonderful weekend We reserved a king suite as it was off season and a super value. The large room was very comfortable with easy chair and couch as well as a spa tub! The view of the lake was also very nice. It was great to relax on the private balcony with a cocktail or two and watch the birds and waves. What a great way to spend a relaxing weekend. We will definitely stay here the next time we venture north. May 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I was happy with my stay at holiday inn express St. Ignace My family enjoyed the use of the pool and the gym during our stay. We found everything to be working and comfortable to use. The staff was friendly and helpful in our questions regarding directions. Our rooms were clean and neat. i was happy with the ease of using the wifi and how fast it ran. We arrived on an unexpected cold day and I had to adjust the space heater on the wall. that took a little work as it was hard to know where to set it to achieve a comfortable room temperature, but I was able to eventually get the temperature where I wanted it. I have only one suggestion. Consider providing a small bottle of hand soap at the sink for guests to use. Shampoos and lotions were provided in tiny bottles but i didn't see any hand soap. My favorite part of the stay was the breakfast in the morning. It was a full breakfast with several different options to choose from. (pancakes, eggs, french toast, danishes, biscuits, ect, juices and 3 types of coffee were also provided. I was very satisfied with the breakfast. May 14, 2015

I would suggest to stay in St Ignace and then travel around the Mackinaw instead of staying across the bridge in costly hotels. The lake and island view from the hotel is very good. The rooms are spacious and clean and hotel staff is very good. May 13, 2015

Check in was a breeze and the overall value at this hotel is excellent. I will continue to stay at this hotel anytime I'm in the area. May 12, 2015
