The staff is very courteous, the breakfast selection and dining area is superb, and the rooms are very well kept. The only qualms I had with the rooms were the accessibility of electrical outlets (usually behind beds or dressers and hard to plug electronics in) and the TV reception quality was poor (channels kept flickering and wouldn't maintain picture). All-in-all though it was a very good stay. November 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff- So much to do Upon arrival we noticed that there was a very large group of unruly people checking in as well. I immediately felt bad for the staff. Then Terri appeared from the back all smiles and all was good! She immediately began checking us in and made us feel like we were the only people in the room (as the other group continued complaining). We were done and upstairs in our room within minutes. There is so much to do around the Hotel and the shuttle drivers took us to all of it during the next 2 nights. We had 3 different drivers throughout our stay and they were all Wonderful! This was amazing, considering they too had been dealing with the rude group. The Hotel is under revovation but honestly you would never know if you didnt see the signs. There was no noise or mess. The occasional slow elevator was all. It was tuly a wonderful weekend due to the Hotel and its Staff. Thanks everyone! October 31, 2014

The lady hosting the reception was very professional and delightful to talk with. I was surprised to see her again in the morning helping keep the breakfast area clean and stocked. I look forward to staying there again the next time I conduct training classes in our St Louis office. I will be telling my students about it. It was convenient to walk over to a nearby restaurant and not have to move my car. October 28, 2014

Toilet ran. Good news is that the maintenance worker who came fixed the phone, brought the fridge and tried to fix the toilet by changing a part. I think the hotel even offers shuttle service to the airport (I had a rental car so I didn't need to use). The hotel recognized my IHG Platinum status immediately and offered points as a welcome amenity. Definitely would stay here again. October 18, 2014

We had to park in the side lot, in the rain, because parking is limited. The building is old and dated; however its a descent place to lay your head. October 18, 2014

The rooms and entire hotel ( interior and exterior ) are very clean, the breakfast food and selection of items is great as is the airport shuttle service. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 renovations We were staying there to attend a wedding. Our first night we found that the reception for the tv was poor. My husband was able to get behind the tv and do some adjustments to get better reception but it still was not great. When we called the front desk they told us about the renovations going on. When we returned from the wedding (we stayed about 100 miles away for the wedding) we were put on the 5th floor where the remodeling was taking place. We ultimately were moved to another room (on the 5th floor) because the doorknob would not work correctly, the toilet kept running and again the tv reception was even worse than on Friday. The staff was very helpful and apologetic through all of this. I have stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses before without problems. I gave it 4 stars because we felt like the issues were renovation related. The breakfast was great with a very good selection of hot and cold items. Plenty of table space. October 7, 2014

They forgot to clean my room and when they cleaned it that night at my request they did not wash the coffee pot or bring more coffee, or soap? It is a pet friendly hotel and there was dog doo doo in the elevator and when I left the next morning more at the front curb as you enter. October 7, 2014
