Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Quick overnight We had a late arrival at the airport and needed a place to crash for the night before starting a vacation road trip. This Holiday Inn Express was close by and was very clean and comfortable. Bit of advice: beware of taxis. It was late and we were in a hurry to get to bed, so we took a taxi. It was a mistake not to ask what the fare would be. Even though the trip was only a couple of miles, the driver manipulated the meter and clearly overcharged us. Should have waited a few minutes for the hotel shuttle! November 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor customer service We have never had an experience like what we encountered at this hotel.Upon our arrival after a long trip, the woman behind the counter told us that our reservation had been cancelled. My husband told her he had received a confirmation email just the day before. She kept repeating that it had been cancelled, then told us it was due to the expiration date on my husband's credit card. She never told us what to do to get the reservation back, nor did she ask to see the credit card in question or to see a new one. Finally, the "auditor" showed up and she came and remedied the situation and we proceeded to the room. Outside of the door to our room, there were piles of dirty laundry which had not yet been removed. We finally entered the room, which is spacious and comfortable, although the toilet seat was a bit broken. The next day we arrived back at the room at around 10:30 pm to find that it had not been cleaned and there were no clean towels. My husband called the desk and the same clerk was there, who rudely told him that the cleaning staff had gone home. The next day when I raised it with the new clerk, she was apologetic and brought the cleaning supervisor to speak with me. This person told me that they are short-staffed (thus the laundry outside the room)and that she had taken a picture of the door because there was a Do Not Disturb sign. I told her this was impossible because I took it off and it was not on the night before. When she showed me the picture, there was no room number and no time or date. This is one hotel where it seems the customer is always wrong. November 13, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't stay! Booked a King Suite for 7 nights. On 3 of those nights we had to ask for clean towels. The bathroom was not clean and there is no bathroom fan. The room had big stains on the carpet as well as on the furniture. If you looked behind the cabinet that held the refrigerator and microwave it looked as though it had never been cleaned! Cup lids, dirt , papers etc. It was there the entire time of our stay even after mentioning it to housekeeping. Will not stay there again. November 8, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Housekeeping The hotel and its staff were very friendly and cordial. Good breakfast buffet and love the free Wi-Fi. However, the cleaning staff did not clean the room for my second night stay and we had to go to the front desk to get clean towels to take us through the night. Need oversight for the housecleaning crew. November 6, 2014
