It was our first visit to the area in almost 15 years and they provided information as for as entertainment, restaurants, shopping, and beach areas.The room was ready upon arrival and was very clean and comfortable. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bed too firm, construction in hotel but great staff Remodeling going on, started each morning around 8:30. I had two teenagers on spring break that wanted to sleep in, but we were just two doors down from the major construction! The teenagers thought the bed was way too firm, it was fine for me, what I am used to. The front desk and the breakfast manager were very nice. I observed the breakfast manager going out of his way to help everyone, including me. He even opened the door for us when we went to leave. I would have given it rave reviews if I had been made aware of the construction prior to booking, or given an option to be further away from it. April 13, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by UNDER CONSTRUCTION (BAD TIMING) Bad timing coming to this hotel. The hotel did call us and let us know.......but by that time you could not change your booking. Under construction. If we had known prior to booking would have made another selection. Learned a lesson from here on...will investigate more before making any bookings. Staff was good.....but poor atmosphere. The hotel itself is in great location. Perhaps after demo we can try this hotel out again. HEADS UP !!!!! We visited Jekyll Island IHG hotel and it is just opened 3 weeks ago and still under construction too...suppose to be finished by end of April 2015. Beautiful location .....right on the beach! We will definitely try this location. With everything said.....Golden Islands great place to visit. We will be back again! April 4, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast staff and food. This area was the best in this location that I have experienced. The staff person in charge of the breakfast food was attentive to keeping fresh food available, fresh coffee, and a great variety of well prepared food. Tables were clean, serving line and area was clean. As to the maids when they cleaned the rooms they did and excellent job. It seemed to me as if they needed scheduling/direction as to the order in which rooms to clean on a schedule. April 1, 2015
