The hotel staff are always very helpful and pleasant. The rooms are always clean and the hotel grounds seem to be well maintained. April 3, 2013

However I did see a bug in my room and one in the hall on the first day, but none after so it may have been a fluke. I have come to enjoy and expect the signature cinnamon rolls at breakfast, but there were none during my stay (although the warming station and add for them was still in place). When i asked about them I was told that they no longer bought them (perhaps a cost cutting measure?). I can think of worse things, but it was disappointing. March 25, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Comfortable I travel allot for business and prefer to stay at HIE when I can. This hotel is older but appears to have under gone a face lift. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly. The location is near various eating establishments and I would recommend this location. The only downside to the hotel was because it is older, I noticed that my room was not sprinkled and there were no security cameras in the hallways. I did not eat breakfast so cannot comment on variety of breakfast choices March 4, 2013

When I came down for breakfast at around 7:30, there were no eggs or meat and I had to wait about 10 minutes for them. The service was great and the lady that brought out the food apologized for it. Not really an issue, but wanted to bring it to yur attention. I would stay at this location on my next trip to the area to visit customers. December 17, 2012

These are simply things to supply and expected. No acknowledgement of Priority Club by check in clerk - it was acknowledged with an upgrade and a note in the key folder. Very busy road under construction out front, but traffic light allowed for easy coming and going -- no traffic noise problems whatsoever. Two very good restaurants within walking distance. I can tell the building is a little older, but the care and upkeep is even more apparent. The woman who checked me in was extremly courteous. The room was very nice and the housekeeping staff did a good job. (just a two-night stay). The breakfast was typical for Holiday Inn Express, but very good. I plan to return from time to time for an event held in St Charles. When I do, I plan to stay here. Keep up the good work folks! November 15, 2012
