I have stayed at this property quite a few times when in town on business. It is a very convenient location for my purposes. Easy access to I-270 to West County and I-70 into St. Charles and beyond. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The property is showing it's age, including well worn linens. I understand it is due to be renovated soon. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We arrived after 8 pm and left at 5am, thus we have nothing to compare except the room and the bed. It is time to remodel the rooms or at least get new beds and pillows. Otherwise for a short stay it could have been ok. Also I did not ask for a king and because either my wife or myself did not ask I was given a double. You would thing that they would have asked.

I came into the area for business and my client recommended this hotel. The accommodations were very comfortable and great value for the money. The facility is right off the freeway and there are many restaurant options nearby. I will return to this hotel when back in the area for business.

Disgruntled shuttle driver that made our stay less than good... Both shuttle service to the casino and back from the airport terrible. So wish we knew the name of the bad apple because service and friendly attitude of the other driver we had was great.

Crummy gym and bedding .....Holiday Inn needs to step it up with the bedding Ie lumpy synthetic pillow - feather pillows and duvets need to be Introduced to this chain of hotels

I recently stayed at your hotel. Upon our arrival the staff at the front desk was very friendly. She checked us in in a timely matter and even though we were a little early we had no problem getting our room. Great idea for the snacks! The rooms were nice and clean! Great job! We asked about the hotel shuttle and she was very nice and told us it ran about every 10 minutes or just give them a call and they would come get us. The driver of the shuttle was also friendly and funny! Thanks again! Keep up the good work!

The bed and bedding were not up to the standards of a Holiday Inn Express. The bed was bouncy and noisy and we rolled together in the middle. The bedding was tired looking and uncomfortable. The pillows need to be thrown away.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was fresh and good. The bed however was something else...it reminded me (and not in a good way) of my grandmothers old bed...bouncy, squeaky, and my husband and I rolled together in the middle. The pillows were just as bad, lumps of something not comfortable. And the bedding itself just looked tired. This is too new of a hotel to only have full size beds in their double rooms. Was glad to get back home and to a good nights sleep. Did nothing extra for priority members.

We stayed here in November and was able to provide a great review. After our stay here in December, we can honestly say we will not be returning. Our room was shabby, carpet was stained, furniture was stained, wood stripped off bathroom door. Bathroom sink would not drain. We were there for four days and our room was never vacuumed.

Not sure why when the hotel is not full they would people in rooms right next to one another. The people in the room next us were loud talkers and had a baby. They were up incredibly late and must have come from a different time zone. Never complained to anyone at the front desk, b/c my husband I were to tired to do anything about it. So, with that being said, we never gave The Holiday Inn Express - Riverport a chance to fix the problem. The people working the front desk were very friendly! Nice bed & clean room with plenty of space!

Good value. Convenient location. Shuttle service was good. Staff were nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. The only reason I gave an average to the cleanness of the room was I found a drop of syrup on the desk from the previous guess. The room could use a little more lighting. Overall it was a good hotel to stay overnight.

I arrived from the airport with my kids after traveling all day. To start with, there were no employees for the first five minutes after walking in the door. Maybe they were busy, I get that. Finally a lady shows up and wasn't very friendly. She didn't make eye contact and I got the feeling she didn't want to be there. She checked us in and told us breakfast wasn't availble until 7 am the next morning. My nine and ten year old really like this feature, but because of an 8:30am flight, this was not an option. Typically my kids and I get a bottled water upon arrival but nothing was offered. Our room was on the second floor which was ok, but the vending machine was sold out. Not good. The room was average and even upon checking out, the staff ignored me as I walked out the door. I've been a platinum member for ten years and this kind of service is hard to come by these days. I won't be staying here again.

We had a good experience at this hotel! The staff service was excellent! We were having van trouble and they offered a jump (which we didn't need) and some power steering fluid (which we did need). They were exceptionally kind and gracious to us.
On a down side, all of the TVs didn't work for a while.

We stay in the area 3 or 4 times a year so we have tried most of the hotels in the area. This was our first stay at the Holiday Inn Express and we were pleasantly surprised. By far our favorite hotel now. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ended up extending our stay 3 additional nights due to an illness in the family. The staff made the night by night stay very easy. Our room was very spacious and by far the cleanest hotel in the area.

This Holiday Inn Riverport is an old facility. My assigned room had a pungent cigarette odor even with the requested of non-smoking room. My son and I managed to switch to a non-smoking room without any amenity. I asked for a microwave and a refrigerator, but only got the refrigerator. The room is small, dark and lacking power outlets. The given queen beds are actually double beds. My room window is facing I-70, which makes it quite noisy during the rush hours. The breakfast is standard for Holiday Inn Express. The kitchen staff was quite helpful particularly in fixing the pancake machine.

The only thing that was not so good was the heater it could not regulate so the room got very hot. I was up and down the whole night turning it off and on .
One other ting is I would not have my front desk staff showing tattoos. I thought that was a bit unprofessional.
