Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Low priority airport shuttle service The room was ok. A bit old but clean enough. Not bad for one night stay before catching a plane ride the next day. The bad part was the airport shuttle service. It's suppose to take guests to the airport in a timely manner but instead it took other guests to the offices in the airport neighborhood beore dropping those guests including me who needed to be at the airport at certain time!! It took 40min from the hotel to dopping off at the airport instead of just 15 min as it was supposed to be!! This caused me grief because I almst missed my flight!! The hotel shuld have dedicated the highest priority of this shuttle service to the airport then office people. I am just disappointed!! March 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Heater/AC Unit, ESPN and Fitness Center Overall experience was good. However, these have to be the loudest AC/Heating units. I traveled for business and others in my group mentioned the same thing. I woke up around the clock everytime it kicked on. Also, the channels for ESPN had a bad connection. The feed kept fading out. All other channels seemed to be fine. Finally, 2 of the 4 machines in the fitness center didn't work at all or portions of the equipment didn't work March 14, 2013

The maintainence, room service, food service, front desk, and General Manager teams are all on the same page with EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Even the painter on staff late at night offered to assist me with anything I may need or want. To top it of, it's only moments from the airport BUT in a wonderful! Upscale business park! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Unreliable wifi This is the second time I've stayed at this property, and the first time was much better. I had a room on the 2nd floor and consistently had troubles connecting to wifi while I was there. I called down to the front desk the first night, and the person said they were aware of an issue and it would be fixed the next day, and offered to move me. Since I had already unpacked and hung my work clothes I didn't feel like moving, and since she said it would be fixed the next day I thought it would be a non-issue. The only problem is I had nothing but problems with wifi the entire time I was there. Very disappointing, I would avoid rooms entirely on the 2nd floor. The other thing I didn't like was the stuff on the desks. One reason I like HIE properties is the large desk in the room. This desk had the phone, microwave, coffee maker, tray, ice bucket, and glassed on the desk, which would have made the work area tiny. I put all these on the floor, but a stand or another outlet near the fridge would have worked much better. Overall hotel is nice, location is good, but some small things they need to improve. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room Conditions The room was clean. The web service was in and out during my stay. The response was did you try another wifi connection. The heater in the room was very loud and noisey. Running the heater while in the bathroom with the door was shut it was still loud. The breakfast each morning was burnt, The banana's were very ripe. I voiced my concern to the manager the next day and from that point on was ignored by the night staff. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Various Problems First night -had to call front desk after listening to drunks in the hallway from 3:00am to 3:45am. Never had to do this before. Problem was solved immediately. Two days the room was not made up during our seven night stay. Left room at 1:30pm one day and 8:45am the other. Carpet never cleaned during the whole time. Motel van parked at front entrance under the canapy. Thus guests arriving or departing had to back up and turn around if another vehicle was parked beside the van. Guests using the lot for long term parking took up many of the spaces nearest to the motel thus causing an inconvenience to your in and out guests. Motel lot appeared to have an abandoned Jeep during our entire stay. Windows were down, no license plate and huge water dispenser stuck under the chassis. Breakfast area very nice. Ladies at front desk friendly. January 5, 2013

Easy access to highway 70 and highway 141 makes getting anywhere quick and easy. The accomodations are nice but at this property it is the Friendly and attentive staff that sets this Holiday Inn express apart. We have stayed there many times and the staff has gone out of their way every time to meet and exceed our expectations. January 2, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 3 Days Hated having to pass through smokers to get entrance to the building. Internet login changed, but staff did not inform us. The bathroom had a broken electrical outlet that only got repaired after we complained. The curtains were dirty and stained--only cleaned after our complaint. Breakfast was ok, but could have been better by providing potatoes and more fresh fruit. December 9, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Never again I am a platinum reward member and was not greeted as such nor ever acknowledged by staff upon checkin. In fact, the person who checked me in barely acknowledged me at all. The room was clean but was worn, my bathtub drain did not work and after a long exhausting day I had to plug the tub with washcloths in order to take a bath. Later in the evening I had what appeared to be a drunk younger woman knocking repeatedly at my door, and at one point she slid down the wall next to my door and kept tapping her long fingernails on the door. I tried calling the front desk and never talked to anyone. I used my rewards points for this stay and completely wasted them on this hotel and room. The only good point about this hotel was the next morning the driver who took me to the airport was courteous and a pleasure to have a conversation with. The breakfast was average for a hotel that offers this type of quick breakfast. Do business a lot in the St Louis area but will not be coming back to this hotel. December 8, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff I pretty much stay in Holiday Inn Express exclusively when I travel but this room had the very worst, uncomfortable bed that I've ever had to sleep on. I felt like I was going to roll off into the floor. The food for the managers reception for the priority club members was terrible. I've stayed in some that served pizza or spaghetti or something simple like that that was good but I've also stayed in some that tried serving horrible hot dogs or in this case, some sort of horrible chili / soup concoction. Definitely sub-par compared to what other hotels are out there today for less money. The facility is old and it shows. It needs to be remodeled and upgraded if they want to keep charging the same rate. I'd say it's currently a $50 hotel room. December 2, 2012
