Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Frustrated with room quality and staff I've stayed here several times... each time the experience has declined. this was the last straw. kids yelling down the hallway after midnight, air conditioner was extremely loud and staff were not available to assist. room stunk of mildew air conditioner and stale smoke. Room 219. check in took over 15 minutes and I was not greeted as priority club member. breakfast was average. very frustrated. I expect more from Holiday Inn. July 6, 2014

Internet was free, a little slow, but not to the point where it was annoying. Would definitely stay there again. July 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay minus breakfast issue Booked this location because of their 24 hr airport shuttle which worked out wonderfully. Both drivers were very pleasant and courteous. Our only issue was with the breakfast bar. At check in we were told that it ended at 10 am. We got there a few minutes past 9:30 am and noticed they were putting everything away. That's when I noticed the posted sign saying it ends at 9:30 during the week and 10 on weekends. Being that we checked in very late Sunday night , I can see how the front desk person accidently told us the wrong time. So I do not fault him at all. My problem is with the rudeness of the breakfast bar attendant. I explained to her that we were told breakfast ended at 10 am and she very rudely said there was nothing she could do about that. I asked her if she could open the frig (which was already locked!!!) so I could get a yogurt and if she could turn the juice machine on. She said everything had already been cleaned and sanitized and there was nothing she could do. She didn't even apologize! Other than that our stay was great and Sandy at the front desk deserves a gold star! She was super friendly and even willing to open the locked frig for me! July 4, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does housekeeping have a supervisor? Hotel looks great, inside and out. We loved all the turtles in the pond out back! It's a must see!! Breakfast choices were great. One of the best breakfast bars we have ever seen. Friendly staff. The room was just filthy. Looked like someone had threw up on the wall, that ran down to the carpet, which was crusty and flaking off. Carpet not vacuumed. Sheets dirty on one bed. Hair in the tub. A/c filter was filthy. Tub wouldn't hold water (big issue when traveling with a child--was not a safety feature either, called front desk to ask. Drain was missing a piece it needed.) Took pictures on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and I cannot upload them, getting this error message "We're Sorry, But We Have Encountered The Following Issue(s): We were unable to accept the image you uploaded. It must be at least 533 pixels tall, but was 526 pixels. We were unable to accept the image you uploaded. It must be at least 533 pixels wide, but was 296 pixels." July 2, 2014

Based on service and location, I would probably stay there again as I had to go to airport and back twice. Once renovations are completed, should be a good place to stay. June 30, 2014

The original room was a handicap with king bed which turned out to be very damp when first entered. Maintenance stated bathroom door was closed so room was not venting while A/C was running which created moisture. Entire sixth floor was closed due to remodeling. June 30, 2014

Almost all of my other experiences have been good to great but the room was not clean and smelled of smoke. Carpet was dirty. I hope there are plans to remodel or close this one. No recognition of IHG membership which is also a first. June 23, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Staff - Under renovation - Bad Technology Services This facility is under renovation. Can't hold that against a property so my judgment is not based on that. The staff was friendly and wanted to make my stay as good as possible. The internet service was terrible only working intermittently. Many channels on T.V were inoperable or worked spotty as the digital signal would go in and out. This is NOT the fault of the service provider but the hotel. It is the hotels responsibility to make sure the services provided are of high quality. If not, then find a new provider. Apparently I am not the only person to have issues with the technology. We have stayed at Holiday Inn hotels many times over the years with good to excellent expeiences. This stay was far from what we were accustomed to expect. I commented on the air conditioner at check-out and I am sure that they will address that issue. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room with a view We asked for a "quiet room" and they gave us a room on the end of hall. It was on 5th floor and looked out on the pond where we could watch the wildlife. Staff was pleasant. We drove 10 hours and we were early for check in. They let us check in anyway, which was nice, after a long drive. June 19, 2014

Security on duty after concert was over, made you feel safe and that the crowd would not be allowed out of control. No need to deal with traffic, just walk to concert---shuttle also available to concert. Good breakfast, large eating area. Highly recommend this hotel. June 16, 2014

I had a few problems when i was here, one was a concert going on and I spent a long time in traffic! The other is that some of the cable channels blink on and off while you are trying to watch. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HIE Maryland Heights, MO WE have always stayed at your facility for many years now...I was very disappointed this last time. I had problems with the TV channels which, when I inquired was told that it was the cable company doing it, not the property. Upon arrival I was without internet for the whole first day of my stay due to issue with their carrier. Our coffee pot didnt work and didn't get a replacement until the day before we left. I know these don't sound like big issues but ti did spoil my stayed somewhat as I have always had excellent service and great staff. I did notice that it looked like there were some new faces behind the desk which indicates to me some staff change. Just wanted to let you know. June 12, 2014

I felt secure leaving the car at this property. The shuttle was on time to depart for the airport and was quick to respond when we returned. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by would not recommend. There were stains on the sheets. The room was outdated. We asked to switch Rooms and the staff was very nice and accommodating. When we got to our new room their were still dirty spots on our sheets. There was a dirty nasal strip on the floor. At 430 in the morning we recieved wake up call that we did not ask for. When we went down for the breakfast the good was good but the floor was so sticky our shoes were sticking to it. Just not very clean. We won't be going back. May 29, 2014

Of course, the weather was hot and humid and a cool room was appreciated. From the minute I notified the front desk to the resolution of literally replacing the air conditioner, I experienced outstanding customer service. Everyone was pleasant and did everything they could to make sure my discomfort was minimal. I was delighted! May 27, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worse Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at I am IHG member and I have stayed in several Holiday Inn Express' in the past. I must say this is the worse one I have ever stayed in. In all fairness there are some signs that say they are in the process of updating the hotel, but there were several things that just didn't work during of stay. #1- When we arrived every ice machine was broken. We had to go to the first floor where the person at the front desk needed to go into the kitchen to get ice. #2- The ventilation of the whole place was poor. The elevator which sounded like it was installed in years ago was super hot. There also was no van you could control in the bathroom. #3- The room itself looked like it was half updated. With ugly art on one wall and updated paint that didn't match the art at all. #4- On the last day none of the channel on the tv worked. #5- I was also disappointed there was no fridge. That was my fault, I should have checked, but I am used to all my rooms at Holiday Inn Express having fridges. Overall, pretty disappointed in this stay and hotel, and was bummed that I used so many IHG points on this stay. May 26, 2014
