Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Park/Fly substandard This hotel is fine. I like Holiday Inn Express. The room was very comfortable and clean. Internet access worked well in my room though I heard at the desk they were having problems. I would not recommend this hotel if your main purpose is to park and fly. There is only one van and it is used for other purposes than transportation to the airport. Thus we waited over 45 minutes at the airport to be picked up while watching vans from other hotels come and go numerous times. Then when it finally got there, there were so many waiting for it that there wasn't room for all. It's also difficult to enter for those with mobility issues. I had a 3 1/2 hour drive home at night that I could have been on the road at least an hour earlier if I'd stayed somewhere else. April 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great Place to Stay in St. Louis I enjoyed my stay at The Riverfront Holiday Inn Express. I like the fact that the shuttle would take me down to Dave and Busters for dinner so I would not have to drive. The hotel was very nice for the price!!! I will be back! April 3, 2014

The hotel has only one shuttle driver. Wait time for airport pickup to go to the hotel was an hour for our group. Beds are very comfortable; hallways are quiet. April 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel. Nice Price. This stay here was great. For what we paid, the staff and services were quite good. We didn't run into a single grumpy staff member. Our room, bedding, and bath were much cleaner than the average hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff was right on any shortages. The in-room coffee and shampoo, etc was excellent. The room was quiet. If I were to make a recommendation, I'd suggest having the fan in the AC unit controllable by the guest. As it was, it cycled off and on all night. I would have preferred to have it run (continually and quietly) between heat or cool cycles. Additionally, the TV fare was limited. Some labelled channels showed empty of content. A microwave and fridge would also have been nice. The internet seemed to be heavily used and a bit slow. Overall, a very good experience. April 3, 2014

I was greeted by Sandy Schafer who was very friendly and really helpful at the front desk when we checked in. The shuttle service to the surrounding area was fantastic! It was very busy during our stay and despite the lines, the kitchen staff kept the food coming out. It was a great place to stay during our trip to the St Charles, Mo area. March 26, 2014

Amenities were easily accessible and the breakfast nook was well taken care of, with a nice hot breakfast, even pancakes. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Comfortable bed and internet was the fastest that I have had at a Holiday Inn in some time. Breakfast was good and plenty of food. March 14, 2014

Positives: Lake full of turtles Free HOT Breakfast (although would be nice if it ran later) Free Internet Negatives: If you have a king room you may be booked next to another king room with an adjoining door. You hear a lot.. Insider Tip: Book a Queen Room on the North Side on Odd Numbers. You get a view of the Turtle Pond, and no adjoining doors. :) STAFF IS EXCELLENT!! Always Smiling.. Easy access to I-270 to West County and I-70 into St. Charles and beyond. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The property is showing it's age, including well worn linens. I understand it is due to be renovated soon. I would not hesitate to stay here again. February 4, 2014
