Our stay was great from the time we checked in- Terry and Sally were wonderful and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Nice place overall.

I came to see the world series game 5 with a client and the hotel stay topped a great custmer experience. The staff was proffessional and coureous. They made me feel right at home. The shuttle driver was also excellent and very accomodating.
Great experience all around!

Hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate me on a last minute reservation where all of St Louis was booked for World Series. They even upgraded me as a platinum! Thanks riverport HIE staff!

I appreciate that the rooms and all of the facilities were clean. I felt very comfortable during our 3 night stay. I also appreciate the flexibility of the staff. Our team had early morning games and they had the breakfast available earlier than the regularly scheduled time. The rooms were comfortable and their was plenty of seating in the dining area. The hotel was also, very easily accessible from the highway and softball fields.

Our stay at the HI Express Riverport was excellent. After spending the entire day and evening watching the BOA competition at the Dome in St. Louis and coming in at the late morning hour of 1 am, we were greeted immediately and within minutes enjoying the relaxing comfort of our room. We would definitely recommend these accommodations!!

The people at this establishment did an excellent job making my stay comfortable. The breakfast was well thought out and there were plenty of choices. Despite the construction all of your employees had smiles and made my stay comfortable.

I stay here frequently when I'm in the St. Louis area and have always been greeted with a smile and very helpful staff. The breakfast selection is the best. The evening kickback is excellent, best of any Holiday Inn Express property I have stayed at and I stay at a lot of them.

There is not much to mention about this property except it is a dump. I am a platinum member and stay at a HIEX often, on a weekly basis, and have never encountered a stay as poor as this. The hotel is filthy and outdated, staff is very rude and indifferent. Moreover, I have often referred this hotel to business colleagues for proximity to my office. Luckily, I stayed here on a reward night and was able to experience how terrible the property truly was. I will never refer to this hotel in the future nor waste a dollar or reward point here again. Caveat Emptor -

Our hotel room was clean; however, the hallways were dirty.
The evening front desk staff was not as friendly and professional as I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. We had reservations for two nights, but were checked out of our room after the first night. When we returned to our room for the second night, we were locked out. The front desk clerk was rude, unprofessional, and acted as if we had made a mistake with our reservation. After getting back in our room, I verified our reservation was for two nights.

Although we regularly attend concerts at Verizon, we had never planned an overnight stay. But what we had been anticipating was our first time seeing Jason Aldean as a headliner. I looked online and compared local hotel options. From past experiences, at other locations I have always been satisified with the comfort and value of Holiday Inn Express. I made reservations online. A couple days before the concert I called the front desk to inquire about the shuttle service and it's schedule. The man I talked with was very courteous and helpful. We planned on meeting up with another couple before the show. When they arrived, we were able to sit and visit on that great back patio area by the water.
We walked over to Dave & Buster's for a good dinner before the show and back to the hotel to wait for the shuttle. That shuttle service is a great benefit and resource to use. Very little wait time (if any) before or after the show. The drivers access a street blocked off for transportation services and I mean literally, we were dropped off at the venue within 2 minutes of leaving. Same route after the show and right back into the lobby. As expected, there was a somewhat "rowdy" bunch returning from the concert. There was a uniformed security or police officer working in the lobby. We sat down in the lobby area to visit for at least 45 minutes and I was amazed how well mannered everyone was. No problems or uncomfortable situations. When it was time to go up to our room, I was growing a bit concerned thinking we might be hearing some noise or partying. I was pleasantly surprised from the elevator, hallway and into the room all was quiet. The next morning the breakfast was great. We knew the hotel was sold out. There was ample areas for seating, plenty room to move around and no long wait times to fill your plates.

My family rented 5 rooms on 9/21 . We drove almost 2 hrs. With kids. No where in our confirmation did it say we couldn't check in until 4. The wedding was at 3. I called twice to see if we could get at least 1 room to change our clothes. Whoever was working the phones was very rude. Needless to say we couldn't get a room. Therefore we had to change our clothes in our vehicles. We travel a lot as a large group. Never ever has this ever happened before . We are planning another trip to area needless to say we will find other accommodations .

The room was very clean staff was very freindly and the breakfast choices were outstanding. I travel alot and stay at several different hotels and I would strongly recommend this one. I will use it again when I am in the area!!

I have been to this property four times. It just seems like there is a overall lack of attention to detail in the rooms. Missing caulk around the faucet in tub or stained carpet in the foyer near elevator as examples. As a military guy I place a lot of emphasis on the workout room. The fitness room in this property is below average. The space is there to make it top notch but the same clunky machines have been there for the last three years (and well before that based on appearances. I can say they work they are just old.
The value is there - I just think it could be more.
Staff is fine - the lady was efficient.

Although the room was fine, the hallways etc. looked dingy and old. 4:00 check-in on night of 5:00 concert at Riverport ,with only one person working the counter, meant long line and customer frustration. Staffing should have been better thought out. The whole hotel lacked what is usually expected at a Holiday Inn Express. Also, after watching a couple get an early check-in, we were told simple "no rooms available." Poor attitude.

Our room was dirty and not pleasant. There were 3 in our party and she stated there were no more double rooms. However two more groups had arrived after us and were given double rooms. I know this because I had to go downstairs to obtain linens for the pullout couch and the family that was checking on a room and did not have a reservation as I did actually was given a double room and the next person in line after that was also told no double but then mysteriously a double was found. The room temperature was set at 65 and the room was freezing. We turned on the heat to soften the chill and had to actually prop our door open for the horrific smell coming from the furnace. The smell was a cross between something burning and a dead animal.

An isolated location, with a 100 yard walk in the dark through an office complex to find the nearest restaurant which is a Dave & Busters entertainment arcade. The bed although if had soft and firm pillow options, was squeaky and stiff. Very uncomfortable. And the wall mounted AC system needed recharging as it cycled on/off constantly all night struggling to reach the temperature setting. No on-site food options, only the morning breakfast buffet which is rather bland and institutional. The airport shuttle is very worn out, stained and torn seats, bumpy ride and needs to be retired and replaced. Although the driver was very friendly. This is not the property they should use in their catchy ad campaign "I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night".

We really enjoyed our stay there. We had booked this to attend a concert that night. We were upgraded to a suite. The bed were very comfortable. The breakfast the next day was plentiful. Everyone was very friendly. Next concert we will be staying here again. The only cons I have is the the shuttle to the concert. You need 2 vans when the concert lets out. The driver was kind and drove safely. But everyone is trying to get into one van.

We had a reservations but the guy who checked us in had no business working the front desk. He took forever!! People were lining up behind me and getting angry. All he wanted to do was bash on the Huskers football program instead of doing his job. Took 20 minutes to check in and we had reservations as stated above. The next morning I did tell the gal at the front desk about the prior night and said she'd talk to a manager for us. She was sweet , wish she would have been working the night before.

On our last visit, we stayed in room 431. It had an smell that I can describe only as "wet dog." We had been traveling for about 20 hours and were too tired to change rooms, so we said nothing, but thought you would like to know. Our other visits to your hotel have all been very nice, but we were disappointed this time.

First off, PERFECT location for seeing a concert!!! Shuttle is great! Checking in was a little of a nightmare! Line was all the way out the door. Staff was very friendly and tried their best. The one thing I noticed was online it says check-in 3:00 but at desk it reads 4:00. That was a lot of the confusion.
After returning to hotel following concert, we were unable to take the elevators due to some problem. So having to take the stairs to the top floor, after being at the concert for over 6 hours, was rough! At least one elevator was running the next morning, which made getting our belongings down easier!

A friend & I spent 2 nights at the motel & never had a problem. The bed was comfortable & the room was noise proof. The shuttle was great; we went to concerts at Verizon on both nights. The second night we decided to walk back because there were quite a few people waiting for it & the concert was a sold out show so the traffic was slow moving even though the shuttle gets to cut through the traffic. We felt safe walking back; everything was well lit & other people were walking too. The patio area by the pond is nice & the turtles in the pond are cute. We sat by the pool all day Saturday which was fantastic & had Emo's deliver us lunch. The only disappointment we had was that there was not a mini fridge in the room. I will definitely book here again for the next concert at Verizon.
