We stayed in this hotel for one night and it was the worst hotel experience we've had ever--the bathroom flooded (the facilities are old), the A/C does not work properly, and the front desk staff is rude and not accomodating. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to crash! Perfect location to be staying to get in and out of NYC easily. I had two days of meetings in the city and didn't want to be staying there. Just 2 miles to the train station. This worked perfectly! Only drawback was the parking situation. Garage was a bit too far away for hauling all my luggage and work stuff, but it was at least an indoor walk! Nice piece was the hotel is connected to a Crown Plaza hotel...took advantage of the fitness center and pool there! June 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk The front desk people should look at the person directly when checking in someone. The female I had never looked at me and when talking to me, she looked down constantly. I couldn't understand her or hear her and had to ask her to repeat everything she said. Finally when the transaction was done, I told her she should learn to look people directly when talking to them since she is in a service position. The parking situation was awful and there were no visible signs as to what we were suppose to do or even how to enter the small parking lot. So in that small narrow parking lot, cars were going in both directions. Then we saw the sign valet parking. The valet attendant was "off" and had to be called to come and park the car. Both incidents didn't start our stay very pleasantly. June 19, 2015
