Where do I start.... As a frequent user of the IHG group of hotels for business, I thought I would cash in some loyalty points for our stay on route to our holiday. To start with, the main light in the bedroom was not working, then the basin in the bathroom was badly cracked and the shower tap had no adjuster knob (photos taken). As we were tired from a long drive and had an early start, I thought it best to settle down for the night and try and get some sleep and then report the issues in the morning, however we were not even asked the normal “how was your stay?” To top it all off, we had a double room and the 2nd bed was a smaller bed than the normal and when I rolled over, the bed made so much noise it woke me up every time, including waking my wife in the other bed. As I don’t generally moan or provide feedback, this experience was so bad I thought it best I do. The question for Holiday Inn is, how do you allow rooms in this condition to be allowed to be used by your customers when one of your ideologies is “A fresh, clean, uncomplicated hotel choice offering convenience and good value” sadly I think you failed on all of those items.

Great staff, excellent food, easy parking, spacious and well equipped rooms. Every time the Stansted Holiday Inn is spot on!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by IHG Flyer I think IHG should take the franchise away from them !
1. Broken Shower Tap nearly cut myself.
2. My mobile phone is faster than their wifi
Good job it wasn't an eBay bid or an important email to japan!
3. Missing Glass Shelf in bathroom
4. Not very clean overall , poor quality and i use this brand 3-4 days
a week all over the UK and this is not the norm!
5. No matter how much you complain they do nothing but apologise,
So I will be looking for another hotel
But in fairness if you're travelling to Benidorm it will be fine !
