Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable bed The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Access to the bedrooms is secure requiring a key card to gain access to the lift or the stairs access. The bedroom was clean however the mattress required changing. There were section where the springs had failed. August 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable convenient and hassle free. Our stay at the hotel was comfortable and hassle free. I booked online, it took two minutes to check in and about 30 seconds to check out. The room was clean and perfectly adequate, and to my surprise, breakfast was available at 4am when we were up to catch our plane - although not the normal range available, still a reasonable choice. The only negative things I could say, is the free WiFi could have been simpler to access (although worked well once accessed), and , we could have done with a second keycard for the room, as when one of us left, we needed to take the card to use the lifts to return... And this turned the lights off in the room. (although I didn't ask for another, the staff may well have given me one if I had asked) August 29, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Night before flight I stayed at this HIX with my family the night before we started our holiday. We met my parents for dinner in the restaurant and the food quality was very poor considering the price charged along with slow service from staff who did not know the menu. However the worst aspect of the stay was the bed. It was the worst bed I have ever slept in, well I didn't actually sleep! The only redeeming feature about this hotel was the staff on reception who handed out lollies to the kids. August 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not early flight friendly Poor, bed worn, sloping inwards and small compared to rivals. Children running about upstairs and in corridors into early hours. Breakfast not relevant to an airport hotel where an early start is required with todays security requirements. Had to pay extra for a nights parking, where else could I park it? On a nights stay it should be inclusive. Complimentary toothbrush unavailable to BUY!! August 26, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Reception staff very rude and unwelcoming Upon entering the hotel late on the Friday evening, I was greeted by a man in the reception who was the most unfriendly hotel staff I have ever come across. When I asked him to repeat something, he stared at me blankly and asked me "to listen more carefully!!" and pointed to the literature in front of me very patronisingly. The towels in the hotel room felt quite damp and had a foul smell and the shower water pressure was low which was annoying. The bed felt quite hard and blanked very thin, which made the nights sleep fair at best. August 26, 2015
