Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suite was a great place for everyone to gather Eight old fraternity brothers who annually go to an away SEC basketball game to support our beloved U of K Wildcats need a central space in which to gather. This hotel had by far the best place for this need to be fulfilled (finally, after 10 years). Our past president enjoyed a suite that had a fairly large living room adjacent. We could relax before and after with comfortable chairs, ottomans, and a sofa. It was perfect for our group. Overall the other rooms were fine--clean and quiet. The front desk staff was always helpful and smiling. The young woman who was in charge of the breakfast area could not have been sweeter. A great experience! February 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Knowledgeable at all I always stay at a holiday Inn Express, but this one took the cake, first they should have had a sign out front or even at guest services saying that it was a pet friendly hotel, and I expressed that to the man after I stayed there. Everyone doesn't own a pet, I love animals but I don't want them around where I sleep. This is the sad part on the floor was poop, by the bed and in the bathroom. My point is make sure your guest knows that its pet friendly. hang a sign or something. I received an email like you normally would after your stay and requested for someone to call me because I took pictures of it, and until today no one has called.............. February 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff are like family! We have stayed at the Holiday Inn express throughout the years our two children have attended MSU. Each and EVERY time we are treated with the utmost respect...we tell everyone all the staff members are like our "cousins"! They are prepared for us no matter what time we arrive, the rooms are so comfortable, and the breakfasts and arrival treats are excellent! Most importantly, they always help us out should anything unforeseen happen. We LOVE our Starkville friends! The Lovitt family November 22, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room heater/AC Room 410 needs to repair the heat/cooling unit. The fan blade seems to be bent or in a bind. All during the night when it came on, it woke me. Told maintenance the next morning when I was leaving and he seemed concerned. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Reminds me when the customer was "king". Not so in most commercial places. The entrance was needs to be more noticeable as both times I have stayed there either turned too soon or just after the entrance. Overall, very pleased. Thanks November 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay The Holiday Inn Starkville is a great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. They have a friendly staff and their breakfast is great! The location is also good. Arby's and Ruby Tuesday's is right out front and in walking distance. You are just up the road from Wal-Mart and other stores of interest. I stay here every time I am in Starkville. October 11, 2013
