The staff and room were excellent! The disappointment came when I was about to eat my delicious looking breakfast and up walks this bull dog. It not only startled me but it sickened me and I will not be back to this hotel as long as pets are allowed. It was not only unsanitary but very rude! The owner said, "He wants some breakfast." I stated in a very disgusted manner, "He won't be getting it from me!" Everyone is not a dog lover and to have to endure this in the dining area was quite yucky to me! The beautiful renovations and service are not enough to get me back as long as animals are allowed! Just open up for the birds, skunks, chickens, and hogs as well. Heck, you may even allow them in the food prep area? I expressed my feelings to the dining room hostesses as I left.
Offended, offended, offended!

This is a nice place to stay, the staff was helpful but not overbearing. The room was very clean and spacious. The only room complaint I have is that my room window would not open to let in fresh air which would have been nice in the spring. I would like to mention the breakfast choices as well. I stayed multiple nights in a row and the breakfast was changed up a bit each day. Mainly the hot items such as eggs and meat choices. I was not a big fan of any of the hot egg items which are not any different from other Holiday Inn Expresses that I have stayed in, pretty yucky for the most part.
One last thing, there were no sidewalks leading away from the front of the hotel so you must walk on grass or in the gutter and traffic is heavy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PhilFromMCO Great people and service - not so much the bed
All of the staff that I met were very friendly and helpful, and the location of the property is excellent. For me there were two major negatives:
1. That stupid memory foam mattress. I hate memory foam as it always makes my lower back hurt, and this was no exception. After the first night if I slept in the bed at all it was only for an hour or two before waking with painful lower back. The chair was much more confortable.
2. When I asked the front desk about laundry services (not dry cleaning) I was told that the hotel does not provide this service and did not have a guest-accessable washer/dryer. They did recomment a few nearby facilities, but the hours of operation for these did not meet my needs. I had to be at a job site 45 minutes away before 7:00 AM and did not return until after 6:00 or 7:00 in the evening.
I love the Holiday Inn properties as a general rule and the Priority Club in particular above all other hotel chains and programs, but I will not stay at this property again for the above reasons. My company associates had recommended a competitor, and in this case I wished I had gone there.

The service from your staff was excellent. The room was great. The only complaint would be the guest that was right above our room walked all night and day very loudly, but that was out of your control.

I travel the state in my job and work via the web at night fairly often. Internet service at this hotel is almost nonexistent from 7-11 PM and dial-up slow at other times. Very frustrating. Looks like they tried to save money with an inadequate DSL contract that cannot handle the volume of guests here.
If all you want is a decent room/price ratio, this hotel is fine. Otherwise, reconsider staying here.
