Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Visiting our son at PSU. Just time to visit our son at school, this hotel is at a great location, clean, great breakfast and staff. Made a contact on my phone for this hotel for the future stays. I traveled across the country last year and stayed at 10 Holiday Inn expresses during that trip. I knew each one would be clean, easy locations and of course the free breakfast. February 26, 2014

Small things to note, someone had been smoking in our hallway, horrible stench, but went away eventually and small leak in bathroom toilet leaving a small amount of water on the floor, reported to house keeping. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of my favorite hotels Comfort, cleanliness and quiet. That's what you'll find here. The bed is wonderful, with great pillows, soft sheets and they don't use the nasty bedspreads that you hear so many negative things about. No need to rip the unclean bedspread off your clean linens right away, because there is none. I get a great night sleep here, and the staff calls you once you're settled to ask if everything is good. This place gets and A+ in my book. February 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Holiday Inn Express! This Holiday Inn Express was absolutely the best hotel I've ever visited. The rooms were beautifully decorated and sparklingly clean. The linens were fresh and the beds were so comfortable. It was remarkably luxurious! The breakfast was hot and scrumptious, and the staff very accommodating. The General Manager, Ben, was so pleasant and went out of his way for my party. He was professional and friendly and so welcoming - I felt like I was in a high end spa. Andrew was also as generous and sweet as can be. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express! January 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by New Year's Family Get Together Wow! What great hotel! My sister and I travel every year in December to State College to celebrate New Year's Eve with our family. This was our first stay at this property and will definitely not be our last. Andrew checked us in on Saturday and was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and hotel services. He always had a smile on his face when we came through the hotel lobby each day. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very spacious! We saw Ben, the General Manager, just about every morning we came down to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. He asked how are stay was and if there was anything he could do to make our stay better. I assured him we were having a wonderful time and let him know how impressed we were with the property and staff. Thanks for yet, another, great stay in State College. See you next year!!! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staschak review staff was extremely helpful in helping me to get a ride to my car which was at the shopping center across the street from the hotel. the toilet however smelled as if it had a sewer problem the whole time i was in the room. I did not report this until the end of my stay. December 23, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness of bathroom The entire hotel was awesome. The breakfast was nice. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The only bad thing was the bathroom floor was disgusting. The grout lines were black and yes they should of been white!! The fan vent was furry and nasty. Other than that. If you cover the bathroom floor in towels, you will enjoy your stay. December 17, 2013
