The Holiday Inn - Williamsburg Square in State College is a perfect place to stay for travel or leisure. Clean, comfortable and easy access to travel the area.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BabyP'sMama Nice Size Room, Noisy AC Unit, Uncomfortable Beds
Whenever we travel, we always stay at a Holiday Inn (mostly Expresses) and love the beds. These beds were not the same as what we are used too. I was not comfortable. The AC/Heating unit was very noisy and ran all night long with no end. We returned from our show extremely late, turned on the AC and did not have the energy to call the Front Desk to look at the unit or to change our rooms at 2am. We honestly thought it would get better as it ran, that possibly since it was spring it had not been run much yet this year. To no avail, the crazy thing ran loud all night. Mold was starting to gather on the drain screen. I'm not sure if all of the rooms are handicapped accessible, but ours was, leaving us with no tub. Not a big deal for this particular stay, but would not be appreciated with a longer stay. Not the best Holiday Inn Express we've stayed in for sure. We still love the brand, and will return to Holiday Inns, but most likely not this particular one. On a positive note, the front desk staff was very nice, accommodating and honored all of our requests. Google Maps will take you past the hotel prior to telling you of your arrival. The hotel is tucked back in along a line of many hotels, and none of the hotels are marked along the street for out of town guests to easily see. I'm sure since they're located so close to the college, they do not need to advertise along the street, but it sure would be nice for "out of towners" to have some signage after a long drive in.
