Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was great, but the Bar was always closed the hotel was great, good friendly staff, there was a holiday inn next door (same Owner) but the eating and drinking establishment was always closed do to lack of customers. the Owner needs to address the restaurant issue, he owns 3 hotels on the same property. NO BAR, NO PLACE TO EAT. RP Houston TX February 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BEST HOTEL DEAL ON STATEN ISLAND!!! PERIOD! Just stayed here during Blizzard JONAS. We were snowed in but the gracious HIExpress staff made sure we had everything we needed. They, especially, Joe, constantly plowed the snow, and helped clear out our car from the 30 inch snow storm. The hotel staff made sure to leave their breakfast food (included in the price) was available to us all day and night as there was no place around that was opened. Thanks to Mgr. Maria and Breakfast worker, Erin, we were taken care of very well. And when talking about room cleanliness, there's no one better than housekeeping mgr., Jamie, who always makes sure our rooms are clean, and towels/amenities... plentiful. Also, being situated right off this main expressway of 440/West Shore Expressway, the HIExpress location could not be easier for traveling around SI or 5 minutes from NJ. Special thanks to the Front Desk staff: Maria, Nicole, and Sam, who could not be nicer or more helpful. January 30, 2016

He is a great asset for the hotel with natural smily face and very passionate. Housekeepers are hard working, and they do a wonderful job, the room was spotless. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just amazing! This hotel is a 5 star hotel for me in the area where it's located. just amazing, cozy, clean, nice, all by all no disappointment at all. Me and my partner stayed here from the 29th of December till the 2nd of January, we wanted to stay at a quiet place during those crazy days, but at the same time we wanted to be able to get to Manhattan easily, this hotel was a great fit. We were able to hop on and off from the Staten Island and did everything we wanted to Nice complimentary breakfast buffet. Cleaning staff is very kind and helpful, willing to give you extra towels and toiletries anytime you need. Beds are very comfortable Overall staff is very kind and caring, top customer service! Free wi-fi Good parking lot All by all a great holiday inn experience, like I'm used to. I can see myself staying here again anytime soon. January 7, 2016
