Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to relax From the moment my wife and I walk in, we were received by friendly faces and words. We had just completed a 10 hour from and were beat. Check in was quick and friendly. We were in our room in only a couple of minutes. Our room smelled fresh and was very clean. Obviously, the cleaning staff took great care in their work. I had a great night's sleep on a terrific mattress. My wife did too except for a person in the room above us walking back and forth loudly for a short time. We did not alert the hotel staff. Seriously, what could the do! Before going to bed, my wife and I joined other guest to enjoy the 'Managers Special' which was food from a local steak house, Logan's Roadhouse. WOW!! We were stuffed!! Breakfast was awesome. My wife and I got a delicious cup of coffee and waited with the other starving guest while the cook/waitress/customer service person put everything out in a quick organized manner. The food that should be hot was and it was delicious. There were small omelets, sausage, bagels, muffins, English muffins and so much more. Overall, the hotel staff we met were professional and friendly and bent over backwards with make our stay enjoyable. KUDOs to the cleaning staff for our room. Special KUDOs to the cook/waitress/customer service person who made breakfast simply outstanding. It started our day off on the perfect 'right foot'!! October 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to get a rest on long travel trip On a travel trip I look for an easy access to a Holiday Inn Express - which I have found to be typical. The one in Statesville is easy to access and to re-enter the Interstate. Also as I have found to be the case, Statesville ranks right up there with the best. No disappointments. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great treatment by the staff! Immediately upon walking in the door we were greeted quickly and professionally and we were acknowledged as a Platinum Elite member. We found the room to be very clean and the beds were made up well and very comfortable. The addition of the glutton free items on the breakfast bar was a treat for me as I am Vegan and it is often, if not impossible for me to find items on breakfast bars that I am able to eat. If would be nice to include Almond Milk on the breakfast bars. October 12, 2014

We felt safe and comfortable and well taken care of. The room was just better than our previous experiences at other places. With our AARP discount the price was fine too. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling through or visiting Statesville. October 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, friendly staff We were on a motorcycle trip. Weather can affect an itinerary, and because of this we never make hotel reservations. We were tired and in need of a room. But we were having trouble finding a hotel. We stopped at a Holiday Inn Express in Hickory, but it didn't have on-site laundry. The front desk clerk was very friendly and called several IHG hotels to find one along our route that had the amenities we wanted. Statesville had rooms, and the amenities. Andre was working the desk and was very nice and helpful. The room was great and the laundry room was perfect. We would definitely recommend this hotel. October 9, 2014

Most of all i want to thank Arneshia the front desk lady that gave me some guidance and was helpful with the question i had about the billings that was on my account. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel Excellent hotel, very clean, beds are really comfortable. Only down side was being able to hear the person in the next room snoring when the AC cycled off. Not a major issue, but noticeable. Overall I would stay there again. October 7, 2014
