Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded our Expectations This is a top notch hotel to stay at while traveling in this area. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. In addition, they are also very informative re: the area. We experienced a very clean room and a comfortable bed with good linens and pillows, which equaled a very good night's rest. Also, the hotel was very quiet. Probably one of the best breakfast selections connected to a chain hotel I have had. There was something for everyone, in my opinion. Also, the person in charge checked to make certain we had everything we needed for our breakfast and, again, the breakfast area was spotless. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and we would stay there again in the future. September 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Consistent Stay I stay at this hotel regularily and the rooms and service are overall very good and suit my needs. Wireless seems to work well in the rooms I have had. Having a fridge in the room is a bonus. The hotel has been open for a number of years and is showing it's age a bit and the high usage it gets. Breakfast choices are a bit limited but good for complimentary. Best hotel to stay at currently in the Stellarton / New Glasgow area. September 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service We were warmly welcomed into a friendly atmosphere. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and smiled or offered a greeting whenever we passed the desk. The morning breakfast was of excellent quality, variety and quality of choices. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating and anxious to please. They were also very friendly and greeted us as we came and went. The room was very well kept, with a comfortable and relaxing feel. Our only negative was that the carpet in our room was very badly stained and the bathroom door scraped along the floor as it was being closed. We brought this to the attention of the manager who informed us that they are in the process of having the carpets cleaned. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
