Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed When we got to the hotel we were informed that the pool and hot tub were out of service, however the rate did not reflect this. The desk staff said the notice was on the front page of their website but when I went back at the internet to see why I missed the notice I eventually found that there are two web sites. The one for this location itself had the notice about the pool where it was easily seen. However, when just going to the Holiday Inn Express site (which is the first site that comes up on the internet when searched for) and selecting the area to check/book reservations, the note about the pool was in the last paragraph of the write up for the hotel and not emphasized and easily missed. Very disappointed. July 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks good and that is it They picked the busy time of season to work on the pool We had booked one year ahead and they never told us they took the pool out of service.We lost power over and over the TV did not work most of the time had to keep unpluging it and that would let us watch 2or 3 channels No restaurant . all in all it was not good. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It was fine What you expect from a Holiday Inn. It was fine. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but it was ok. Overall it was a standard, consistent type of place. Be warned that this is not a resort area - the food choices in the area are not great, in fact the only places we found open were really not very good food. July 8, 2014

The only disappointment and, this is standard in most hotels, is that the coffee in the breakfast room was too weak. Hotel desk clerk , who hailed from Yarmouth NS, was extremely helpful and professional. No surprises in this hotel. We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express. July 2, 2014
