This is the second time I have stayed here and highly recommend it The only minor drawback to my stay was that the eggs were sitting under the heat lamp by the time I got down there for breakfast. It didn't ruin my day. What was a great idea was they have a "to go" box for their cinnamon rolls. So I enjoyed their coffee and roll as I headed down the highway. Very clean and very quiet which I love.

I have stayed at this propery numerous times during January, February and March 2013. Regardless of the personnel on duty, all have been extremely helpful and routinely exceeded my expectations.

No biscuits or gravy and coffee was empty before my second cup. Have stayed here several times, this was the first bad experience. The counter staff was wonderful

This HIE is a wonderful place to relax on a trip. Its staff is courteous, helpful and knowledgable. An example is the recommendations for restaurants. The rooms are clean, spacious and have comfortable beds.
We plan to visit Shenandoah Valley in the near future and stay at this HIE. It is in a wonderful location for the upper Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area including Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland.

This is a hotel with an ideal location for easy access to highway I-81 and is surrounded by all major fast food brands. Its price is reasonable and the staff are very friendly.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The staff was also very helpful with any questions I had. The room was the cleanest I've ever seen a hotel room before I was honestly amazed by the cleanliness of the entire hotel. I was able to relax and enjoy myself without having to worry about anything. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Overall my hotel experience here was above excellent.

Our family stayed at this location January 17-19, 2013. We were there for a family funeral. Veronica, the manager on duty, was so kind to give us a special rate for our stay. Even though it was a sad time for our family, the staff was very accommodating to our every need. Our rooms were very nice . The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Having a priority club membership is also a nice perk for getting credit for your stays & special offers like gift cards for 2 nights stay. You also receive a special welcome package when you check in! I also want to add that Veronica and her staff were so kind to us at this location and we will stay here again!

Very Clean Hotel, super nice staff. They get to know you by your name and not just a number.
I highly recommend this hotel to travelers who like to feel special and not break the bank when staying somewhere. Not far from Theater or Food, this hotel is great.

We love this Holiday Inn Express. Have stayed there several times last year and this year. We attend Bluegrass Concerts in Berryville and this is very close to that. Everyone is very nice and the rooms are clean and smell good. Would reccommend to anyone traveling in this area.

Went there for a funeral. Several members of my family booked there. We had not asked about "bereavement" rates but one of the desk clerks (Veronica) asked US since there were so many from the same state checking on. They then proceeded to give us a discount on our room rate! (About 20 % !) How is that for customer service!
Motel is clean and in a very safe location. There are plenty of restaurants within a mile to choose from. Room was clean and linens spotless. Breakfast was good and area was kept clean and tidy.
I would HIGHLY recommend this Holiday Inn Express. Friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms. Miss Veronica was helpful and concerned for our comfort during our stay. She would be enough reason to stay there again! Thanks, ma'am!

We arrived late and was greet with a smile and recommended places to eat. We left early and forgot our ditgital camera. The housekeeping staff called right away! Before we knew it was gone. We were able to come back and pick it up before we were too far way. Thank you!

We have stayed here several times a year. We attend Bluegrass Festivals in the area. Good place to stay and convenient to other places of interest. Would reccomend to anyone who visits this area.

We had a reservation for Winchester, VA and changed it to Stevens City at the last minute. They had only rooms with two double beds available. I should have known better, but we were tired and beat from the drive from Charleston, SC in one day.
My wife and I run well over 230# each, well two people that size need a queen bed.
The breakfast was great, but NOT fantastic as we had had before on other stays.
I will know better the next time.

Overall good stay. Like most remodeled motels, some vestiges of the old are stll evident such as the tiny breakfast room. The adjustable shower head wasn't adjustable and the sink stopper handle didn't work so had to operate manually. Staff were very pleasant and cooperative. Good value for the price.

Very clean and comfortable. Was traveling on a motorcycle trike and the desk clerk allowed me to park under the portico in front of office. This was very much appreciated as a bad storm with 50mph wind, small hail, and heavy rain pssed through the area shortly after we checked in. Great service!

We stayed on 10/15 and tried again on 10/20. When we arrived late on the 15th on our way north, we noticed the newly renovated hotel was already showing signs of wear and dirt. We had to kill several bugs to get piece of mind before attempting to go to sleep.
Our reserbvation for the return trip south (we are Platinum members) was bumped. We, and the overwhelmed lady at the desk who gave us keys, didn't know it until we entered the room and found it was filled with luggage. Fortunately, the occupants were out of the room at the time. Apparently, this was one of their busiest days of the year because of the Civil War reenactment down the road and they were deliberately overbooked. Nevertheless, the manager didn't see fit to be present.
Last year we spent $14K on HI bookings. From this point on, the amount will be $0.
I have elevated these complaints to corporate and to the hotel that will lose the great majority of my business.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The front desk clerk was very efficient, friendly and helpful when we checked in. Breakfast was nice and all staff members that we had interaction with were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying at this hotel if we are in the area again.
