Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by nice lobby - rooms are old and smell of mold and damp The staff were very nice on check in. The lobby seemed modern and very nice. The rooms are a stark contrast. They are old , damp, smell of mold and mildew. In my first room the lock did not work. I moved to another room and that lock did not work either . At 2:30 am I just used the door chain. This hotel looks great but is old and worn out once inside the rooms. August 27, 2015

Dawn, the front desk clerk, was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would happily stay here again. August 23, 2015

Usually same people each time; to me, the low employee turnover rate indicates job satisfaction and more experience to keep things "right". Reservations a piece of cake, with great communication. My husband is handicapped and we were not able to park in the slot. The other slots were all taken and I had to park away, which was difficult when I moved our luggage. August 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a normal Holiday Inn Express My wife and I have stayed in a lot of Holiday Inn Expresses. When we travel, we stick to the IHG brands. This Holiday Inn Express was not like any other one that we've stayed in. Here is a summary of our experiences that differ from other HIEs: 1. We were given a room that was already occupied (sorry to whoever was in there) 2. The bed was hard as a rock 3. We arrived at breakfast at 9:27 (closes at 9:30) and the woman who was starting to put things away loudly complained to the front desk staff about the three people (there was a kid there as well) who are eating breakfast after 9:30. I think the breakfast was my biggest complaint. We've always had a great experience at breakfasts with the staff being very friendly and even if they are putting stuff away, they have always been very nice and helpful. This woman was extremely spiteful and I felt very unwelcome. My wife and I will not be staying at this hotel again. August 22, 2015
