Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stephenville Sunday the 13th No bath towels in room! Didn't notice until I got out of shower. Had to dry off with hand towels! Light bulb in bathroom mirror almost burned out, very dim. July 18, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sadly Disappointed I was very surprised with the overall cleanliness of the hotel and in general. The hotel room was found to have an old newspaper on the desk, candy wrappers under the phone, a dirty bar of soap in the sink, a used towel hanging on the rack, in the stairwell by the trash were pizza boxes that remained during our entire stay, they ran out of towels and we had to go pick them up from the front desk (really inconvient when already for a shower). The staff all complained of being overworked so we didn't approach them for help but rather went to Wal-Mart and got our towels, bleach wipes, etc. Oh, and the pancake machine was down,and the breakfast bar barely had any food because it didn't arrive in time!! The hotel is very nice in appearance but the staff really needs uniforms! You can't tell the housekeepers from the front desk staff from the lawn guys! June 30, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed Stayed here several years but it really went down from last year. The smoke in my room was missing the cover & wires just hanging out. No trash can in the pool area. The meeting room we rented wasn't cleaned very good. The side door's card reader was broke so you could get out but not back in. The water filter on the 4th floor ice machine hadn't been changed since 1/2013. The refrig. in my room was unplugged. Am a IHG Rewards member, got something last year when we checked in but not this year. June 28, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent place The AC unit was so loud sleep was difficult. The wireless internet seldom worked. However it was being worked on while I was there. TV service was very good. Very clean. Courteous staff. If you stay there be sure to take earplugs. June 23, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Okay I guess Decent enough place to stay. Updated on outside but rooms seem that they have not been updated for awhile. Elevator broken for most of stay for almost and had been broken for two weeks prior to stay and placed on third floor. At check in was not greeted in a friendly manner nor recognized as a gold member. Breakfast had milk that had expired available to eat. June 9, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor air conditioning and pool was freezing We stayed at this hotel for the first time this past weekend and it had to be the worst Holiday Inn I've stayed in for years. To start with the hallways and elevators were stuffy and not properly cooled. Our clerk put us in the wrong room and when our two young boys went to the pool with us the water was freezing. Why would a hotel cover a pool from the sun outside and not have a heater for the pool Itself? My pregnant wife was very disappointed in our stay and we hope things improve with the facility before we return to Stephenville. Being a Gold Elite member, I've stayed at dozens of Holiday Inn hotels and this was the worst one. June 5, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Desk chair and lamp next to bed were broken. Co-worker said their lamp next to their bed was broken. Seems pro-active maintenance and quality control is a problem for this location. Staff was very friendly, but offered no discount for problems I experienced. Staff does not seem to be empowered to offer a quality experience, just trained to be nice and look at you and smile. Not a lot of choices in Stephenville for name brank properties, so not sure how much the hotel will try to improve. If you want your HI points, you have no choice. May 5, 2014

Called the front desk but they could not resolve (response time over 2 hours). Hotel was packed. Could not handle the load at breakfast. Noisy guests kept us up through the night. Would NOT recommend this location. Next time in Stephenville I will choose another hotel. Not the usual HIE experience. April 8, 2014

The hotel was well maintained except for some damaged carpet near our front door, but overall the place looked very clean and well kept. I will stay there again when I am back in the area. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed after sheets were changed As a platinum member, I have stayed at many IHG hotels. Never have I needed to request a change of sheets because of several large water type spots all over them? Who knows what they were from. The bathroom looked like it had been flooded on the wall under the sink but again, who knows what caused that. Otherwise everything looked clean. The front desk had very young personnel who seemed concerned and followed through with changing out the sheets in a professional manner. There are not too many new hotels in Stephenville, and have not stayed in the rest March 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service! I travel quite frequently and usually stay at a Holiday Inn. I normally don't write reviews but I was very impressed with the staff at this location. Julie, Tanner, and Chris were extremely helpful and courteous during my stay. My trip was not the best ( due to work not because of the hotel). Right before checking out I locked my keys inside my car. The staff showed great concern and we're very accommodating and helped me unlock my car. Overall superb customer service from the staff at this location. March 11, 2014
