Having checked in after a long journey and with extreeme weather looming I was greeted with a warming smile and immediatly booked in, offered help and assistance if required to make my stay relaxing.

I have stayed at numerous Holiday Inn express hotels and so know that I am always going to get a good quality and clean hotel.
The double room I booked was very spacious with a large comfy bed, and plenty storage space for a few nights stay. The shower rooms in the HI Express hotels are small but functional with a good quality shower and the option of complimentary toiletries and personal items is brilliant, if like me you sometimes forget essentials like toothpaste or a comb!
Staff were friendly and pleasant.
If you want a cooked breakfast, the choice is not great - basically, sausage, egg and beans, but I'm happy with tea and toast so suited me fine.
The pub just across the road was really handy and had a very good and varied menu at reasonable prices.
The only small gripe I have is that the bedroom door was very tight so you virtually had to slam it loudly to get it shut, which I'm sure would be very annoying to the residents in the rooms nearby!
Despite this picky complaint, I would definitely stay at this hotel again when working in the area.

The hotel was spotless,the breakfast was very good and as usual the staff were very nice. This is the third Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in and we liked them all.

Very clean hotel with very nice staff. Continental breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage and beans. Only gripe I had was the old fashioned colour TV with no Freeview which gave very limited programmes. Taxi into Stirling was reasonable at under £5.00. I would recommend this hotel for short business stays.

From the minute I mistakenly booked a month rather than two nights (gulp) the staff at this hotel could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Our arrival was straightforward. The room was fine. The bar area was very good, but the ladies in reception were amazing - offering advice on where to walk the chihuahua, downloading local cinema info... all I can say is a massive THANK YOU.
Downside would be the cost of internet in the room - to be honest, I would have done without; the teenager wouldn't!
Thanks again and we will see you again!

We arrived about 10pm, got to the room ready for bed only to discover the sofa bed was so uncomfortable the kids couldn't sleep in it so they had to get all the pillows in the room to put under them to make it bearable. The room was cold at 18 degrees when we got in, but we couldn't heat it up despite turning up the thermostat and the heating went off during the night so we were all freezing.
None of us had a good sleep and left early the following morning still shattered, certainly not the object of the stay.
We mentioned the uncomfortable sofa bed to reception in the morning, but they were not interested.
Disappointing stay as we used to enjoy the express Inn, but I think we have decided its better to pay a little more and stay in a decent hotel.

I don't normally review hotels, but I had to commend the staff. Very helpful in all respects, allowed me to work in peace to do my expenses (v important, clearly!). Mentioned it to their Manager but also wanted to let you all know as well.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hunter47 In the main, the room was comfortable and well appointed, with comfy beds, clean, with good en-suite.
The only complaint I would report is the heating system - even when turned up, the room was still cold, with the a/c noisy and a distraction, so had to be switched off in order to sleep.
Linked to the temperature, was the temperature of the hot water in the shower - tepid at most.
Other than that, the room and overall experience was good.

Overall, I cannot fault my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Stirling. Parking excellent, room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly, breakfast was good and not far from the city centre. I would recommend those visiting from elsewhere to book a room here. Good value for money

I have never been to Stirling before but I decided to stop mid-way on a journey from Newcastle to Fort William. The town is lovely and steeped in history. The hotel is conveniently located but a bit dated. What really bothered me is the broken window latch which I didn't report to be honest but that meant noise and cold air found their way in.

What an excellent hotel for the purpose! Several of us from Bedford Rugby Supporters Association spent time in this hotel over the past weekend. We were in the city to watch our team play Stirling County. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff from booking taxis to serving pizza!! Many thanks to all the staff on duty.

I booked in for two nights and when I got to my room the key card didn't work so I went to reception and the young lady apologised and scanned the card again but when I got to my room it still didn't work so I used the phone on the wall to call reception and the manager came with a new card which also didn't work. He just said pick another one up when you go down which I was a bit annoyed about but I was tired so I just went into my room. I went down later to get a new card which still didn't work and the ladies on reception were more than helpfull they I was offered another room and some complimentary drinks and I was treated with so much respect the problem I ad wasn't a problem anymore I will be staying again in the near future ,.,.

I can't fault this hotel at all, very reasonable price for a family room and when I called to check we would have a travel cot the member of staff said he would ensure we were in a room large enough for all 4 of us. Everything was very clean, breakfast was good and the location is nice and quiet. The pub opposite is also fantastic for children. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff couldn't be more helpful, they were especially great as my wee boy wasnt well and hey made sure we were well looked after. Great location with the eating room in close proximity for meals. Have sated here numerous times now and never disappointed. The best holiday inn express I've stayed in

We had a comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn, Stirling. We requested a quiet room and were given one so that was great. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. There were plenty things to choose from for breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down side was the directions to the location. We thought we were never going to find it but eventually did.

Awesome stay!
Even the wee guy behind the conter was poite and witty and a cracking looking lad! He asked me what I like in my sandwich, I told him and he said, "It's a strange choice, but it's your choice..."
I liked him very much, thought I seen him outside Barry Magistrates, I didn't though, it wasn't him.
Will certainly be back!

I booked our stay using priority club points as a platinum member for a number of years. I was becoming increasingly disillusioned with the standard of service and cleanliness of your hotel chain, I had stayed at the HIE at Stanstead Airport the previous evening on business which was to be frank filthy!! so it was refreshing to stay in the HIE Stirling which was spotless with pleasant and helpful staff. (Maybe you could have a word in Lancaster, Ashford, Stanstead and Warrington).

Enjoyed our two night stay at the Stirling Holiday Inn Express.
Room was perfect for our stay and the Chambermaid each day presented a room that was clean to a very high standard.
The breakfast choice was excellent and the the hot food was constantly replenished.
I recommend this Hotel and its central location as an ideal base for exploring Stirling and the region.
