We arrived at approximately 7.30pm on a Saturday evening and the Reception/Bar area was quite busy, but we didn't have to wait too long to check in. The room was nice and clean. My husband went back downstairs to get some food to bring back to the room and a glass of wine for me. He was told they didn't do food, but you could order from a local takeaway, and they also had no white wine. Then he asked for a pint of iced water and was told there was no ice. On the plus side there was a carpark and we were able to have a late checkout.

Booked this hotel and stayed for 1 night. Friendly staff at check in. Room all good, no problems. Air conditioning all good and able to set to desired comfort. Having stopped in a few Holiday Inn Expresses, what I do miss as an option for breakfast is Bacon! Not sure why they do not give that option.
Following on with the breakfast theme. We regularly stop in the Holiday Inn Express at Greenwich. I must say the quality of breakfast at Stoke-On-Trent is 300% better.
If you stay at Greenwich , avoid the breakfast. Eggs watery, Sausage Not sure what the meat is but, NO. Baked beans are definitely No frills, No Frills. Orange juice is also watery and the coffee has a terrible tang to it and leaves a film in the mugs! I hope Holiday Inn Express do read these comments too and look into your Greenwich site. The 02 are building hotels with in their complex and if Greenwich Holiday Inn Express doesn't improve breakfasts, I guess you will loose out big time. I know of guest who did not eat breakfast there, but walk 500yrds for lovely food.
