Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Wonderful staff but VERY noisy hotel room.
The hotel staff was professional, courteous, and attentive at all times. The rooms were clean.
The noise level at the hotel was terrible. We could hear EVERYTHING in the neighboring rooms and the hallway including people's private conversations, snoring, and which TV shows they were watching. The same was true for the hallway outside our rooms. As a result, falling asleep was incredibly difficult. My wife and I left the bathroom fan running all night and downloaded a noise-making app to drown out all the noise from outside our room.

This hotel was clean and conveniently located to restaurants and other businesses (within walking distance of Ruby Tuesdays, Subway, 7-11, and a few other places). Unfortunately, during our two day stay, our room wasn't cleaned and no explanation or apology was offered. We also weren't able to control the temperature of our room and despite it being cold outside, it was uncomfortably hot in our hotel room.

I am a huge fan of Holiday Inn Express hotels. Unfortunately, this one was a disappointment. The hotel is clean and comfortable - the most important features. However, what was less than impressive was that I chose to stay for two nights and my hotel room wasn't cleaned at all during my stay. After arriving back at my hotel room at 9:30 p.m. on Day 2 of my stay and realizing that my hotel room hadn't been cleaned, I made a trip to the front desk to explain the situation and request clean towels. At a minimum, I expected an apology or explanation. I received neither. Upon hearing that my room hadn't been cleaned, the receptionist replied that she would "write a note." I have no idea how this would be at all helpful to me. I retrieved new towels and coffee and headed back to my room. Again, no apology (or explanation) was received. This is not the customer service that I'm used to at Holiday Inn's. Disappointing.

It seems the trend is to have sheer curtains and draperies on the windows that cannot be drawn so that light from the outside (street lights, etc) cannot be shielded from the bed when trying to go to sleep. I'm not sure how many times I have put a blanket over the curtain rod to shield out light.

There were only sheer curtains plus decorative partial curtains, which meant I could not close the curtain fully to shut out the light. Not a good decorating decision!

Great place to pull off the highway....location is great......places to eat, sit down, dine in or carry out.
Staff is always helpful and the rooms are always clean. Comfortable beds.
A hotel you can count on and know what you are getting.

The staff was really friendly. We were greeted promptly and pleasantly when we walked in the doors. There were several people checking in so we waited just a few minutes, but the clerk smiled and was very pleasant the whole time. His name was Efrem or something similar, I tried to pay attention, but I was really tired.
The room...it smelled good! It was comforting and well lit, too. Everything was super clean and well organized. Even the toiletries provided were great...Bath & Body Works! We slept wonderfully.
The breakfast was full of choices and everything I had was really good. The breakfast staff was very accommodating, also. My son had just graduated from boot camp the day before and was super tired so he slept in until 930. She made sure he had fresh biscuits and gravy when he came out for breakfast.
We were super impressed with our entire stay and would highly recommend this hotel. It is well worth staying here!

Whenever possible I request booking at the Holiday Inn. This particular Inn was pleasant, quite and staff was friendly.
