Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Wonderful staff but VERY noisy hotel room.
The hotel staff was professional, courteous, and attentive at all times. The rooms were clean.
The noise level at the hotel was terrible. We could hear EVERYTHING in the neighboring rooms and the hallway including people's private conversations, snoring, and which TV shows they were watching. The same was true for the hallway outside our rooms. As a result, falling asleep was incredibly difficult. My wife and I left the bathroom fan running all night and downloaded a noise-making app to drown out all the noise from outside our room.

This hotel was clean and conveniently located to restaurants and other businesses (within walking distance of Ruby Tuesdays, Subway, 7-11, and a few other places). Unfortunately, during our two day stay, our room wasn't cleaned and no explanation or apology was offered. We also weren't able to control the temperature of our room and despite it being cold outside, it was uncomfortably hot in our hotel room.

I am a huge fan of Holiday Inn Express hotels. Unfortunately, this one was a disappointment. The hotel is clean and comfortable - the most important features. However, what was less than impressive was that I chose to stay for two nights and my hotel room wasn't cleaned at all during my stay. After arriving back at my hotel room at 9:30 p.m. on Day 2 of my stay and realizing that my hotel room hadn't been cleaned, I made a trip to the front desk to explain the situation and request clean towels. At a minimum, I expected an apology or explanation. I received neither. Upon hearing that my room hadn't been cleaned, the receptionist replied that she would "write a note." I have no idea how this would be at all helpful to me. I retrieved new towels and coffee and headed back to my room. Again, no apology (or explanation) was received. This is not the customer service that I'm used to at Holiday Inn's. Disappointing.
