Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Good rooms, BUT the Trains! It is very unfortunate that no one told us about the trains that went by every hour, night and day. Not only did they go by the hotel, but as they approached they blew their whistle. Then as they went by they, blew their whistle and until they completely went through the intersection near the hotel. The rooms were nice, but we were not able to sleep at all due to the trains. No where on the website or at check in did they tell us about the trains. There were ear plugs in the bathroom and now we know why. If you can sleep through anything, stay here. If you can't sleep through the sound of a train that sounds like it is righ next to you stay somewhere else far far away from this town. You can also hear the train in town so there is no escaping. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location This hotel is perfect for doing business in Sumner, WA. Rooms are big and comfy, so I can spread out and prepare for the next day's appointments. Nice pool and hot tub as well. If you're on the train side there can be some noise, but not bad. I usually stroll over to Subway for a healthy dinner. Holiday Inn Express is great in that I get what I expect every time. April 2, 2013

Your staff went over board one night.We didn't want to wait an hour and a half for food one night.So we just went back to our hotel.Your staff took us to a local restrurant with no waiting and brought it back to the hotel for us.That was great service.And we got some good food.We will be back next year. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Weekend I was up for the quilting show. The staff made the weekend great. Even with a mostly full hotel, there was great service, the breakfast area was clean and stocked. Everything you would want in a stay. We were so comfy and content that we added a 2nd night to our visit. The hotel seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but there is easy highway access and we were very close to Puyallup (for the show) and Tacoma (for dinner with friends). March 8, 2013
