My last stay with this hotel chain was the worst stay I have had. When I arrived at the hotel they did not have my reservation. I made my reservation by calling the hotel directly. Once I provided my reservation number they told me that it was not until the next day. Then the front desk checked and said that my reservation was changed by me. I told them that nobody else has access to my rewards and I did not make the change. The front desk tried to put the blame on me but I know i did not change my reservation. If I changed my reservation why would I drive a distance to a hotel that I supposedly did not have a reservation for. I did get a hotel room that night but when I got to the room the bathroom sink was all sticky and a bar of soap was on the counter full of hair. I had to clean the bathroom sink. The carpet was dirty and there was food in the fridge. I did make the front desk aware of this but the manager seemed to not care. The many times I have stayed at this hotel they never attached my rewards to the room. I will always had to call to get my reward points. Every time I have stayed I have asked if my rewards was attached and I keep getting told yes but they are never attached. I think it is time to find another hotel in this area to stay at.

We always stay here for vacation. The staff is always friendly and attentive. My son used the gym, and we used the pool and hot tub. The breakfast each morning was warm and delicious. We will come back again. It is a very clean hotel. We overlooked Barker's Island, it was beautiful!

Hotel could have been a good one as facilities were clean. Problem was they would not honor the rate I was quoted on the phone. Tried to talk to them 3 times. Then our room wasn't cleaned the second day by dinner time and we were told we could have towels, but it would not be cleaned!! We asked for garbage to be emptied, refills on coffee and such, but had to do it ourselves as she never came back. The next day we arrived back in the late afternoon only to find it hadn't been cleaned AGAIN. They did come to do it that time. The A/C didn't work properly the whole time and had to be unplugged so it could unfreeze. That worked for a bit, but problem continued. They did offer a new room, but by then we were leaving the next morning.
I will say the breakfast was good and varied day to day in some menu items. They were very good about keeping things stocked even till it closed. That was the only good thing I can day about our 3 day stay.

Following surgery we had 2 emergency room visits and the staff at Holiday Inn Express was so attentive to our needs. We were supplied with extra linens several times, the environment was quiet and felt safe and when we needed to extend our stay a few more nights there was no problem at all. Every member of the staff from reservations to arrival to breakfast in our room and taking care of any need we had...every member was just so kind and helpful. We truly appreciate the folks here in Superior and highly recommend staying with them whether for leisure, business or medical reasons. Thanks so very much!
