overall a very good hotel, but would not use the bar again due to being forced to buy spirit doubles only.

Clean, comfortable and the staff were excellent, the breakfast is a bit limited if you fancy full English but othwerwise the food was excellent.

After a tiring journey it was a relaxing night in a comfortable room. We especially liked the large fluffy bath towels - in many hotels they are little bigger than a gust towel! Also, the decent sized TV was much appreciated.The breakfast the next day was a great start to next part of our journey.

Unfortunately the breakfast experience at this hotel did not measure up to other HI Express hotels. This was true in terms of the quality of the breakfast, the layout of the servery area and its cleanliness. The gold standard I compare this with is the HI Express Dublin Airport - the difference is extreme, even the HI Express Bristol Temple Meads is significantly better. There needs to be greater consistency in quality.

Everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay. Clean, modern room and a good selection of food for breakfast at a very reasonable price.

I've stayed here lots, great location and usually very efficient. This time the hotel had misfiled my booking (left it on the printer apparently) and so it was an issue finding me a room.
I still struggle with the Holiday Inn corporate decision to remove trays, why they think it's fab to walk backwards and forwards to your table fetching breakfast items is beyond me. Apparently trays are available if you ask for them....
