Staff was friendly and welcoming. However, the rooms, while attractive, left much to be desired. The beds were incredibly hard, making it very difficult to sleep. The wifi was nearly non-existent. This is a major problem when you are doing business travel. The water pressure in the showers was very weak.

I don't mind any of the amenities as long as there is internet.
Internet at this location is so slow that everything times out.
Streaming is impossible.
Apps don't work.
Browsing times out.
Worst internet ever. It only gets worse as more people come back to the hotel in the evening.

I was assigned a room,had odor when I walked in,but I thought because room had been closed up for a while.I did notify staff,they offered to move me,but I said should be ok.I ran the a/c the night.woke you all stuffy,as I have COPD. I asked the lady cleaning the rooms,to please come smell my room,she did,and said it smelled.I spoke to the supervisor,she said it really had odor.They moved me to another room.And I do thank them.the staff at this hotel are awesome.you should be proud to have them.

The room 217 had old wallpaper that was coming off of the wall. When installed, whatever trash, screws nails etc that were in the walls was left there and covered over. The door jambs were not flush to the wall allowing insects to live in the door jambs large gaps. No caulking at all. The sink was not installed properly in the BR leaving a 1/4" gap between the sink and the wall again allowing insects to live in the cracks. The paint was so bad you could see the previous colors in splotches all over the BR walls. There was a large crack in the ceiling above the commode and a large gap around the fire water nozzle both allowing insects to live in the space above the sheetrock. There was a large crack above the shower wall 1/2" wide the length of the stall where the sheetrock has come undone. There was duct tape residue where someone taped it instead of repairing it. Again, insects etc. The caulking on the shower walls was over 1' wide and was not put on properly. Very ugly. I had the heater off all week and the window open most of the day. The temperature in the room was still too hot to sleep. The temp outside was 30s to 40s. The AC would not work because of the outside temperatures. Very uncomfortable sleeping. They need not screw the windows shut. I have no idea why they would do that.

NO PROBLEMS WHILE STAYING. WERE ABLE TO BOOK AN EXTRA NIGHT SAME ROOM THE AFTERNOON BEFORE.

Booked a King Suite on mobile app, was informed upon arrival that the room was not available. Was given a regular king room and a $5 discount. This is an older, 1st generation HIE. Needs updating both inside and out. Only choice in town, so if you need a clean place to stay it is ok. Just does not meet newer built HIE standards
