Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Quiet Room at a Fair Price All I wanted was a clean, quiet, safe place to stay for one night while on a business trip. I got just what I wanted at Holiday Inn Sylacauga. The price was reasonable and everything that was supposed to work (e.g., the television and the AC) worked. My only complaint is that the towels smelled like they had previously been in a smoking room. They had been washed and folded appropriately, but still had a faint smokey odor. Nevertheless, it is not Holiday Inn's fault if guests smoke when they are not supposed to. My overall experience was positive. Staff were efficient and courteous. I would stay there again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by October Wedding We were guest of the hotel for a family wedding with about 15 or more rooms. We had a great experience in regards to the hotel, the staff, the breakfast, and the location to Pursell Farms where the wedding was being held. They were running short on towels on Saturday, but they made up for it in friendliness. Such nice people. Thanks so much for everything - it made for a great weekend. We had people from all over the country and it was nice to be able to sit in the breakfast area and visit late in the evening. Thanks for such a great stay! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice staff but needs serious updating We arrived late and left early so the review of our stay mainly involves the room. The sleep sofa was broken but my son managed to sleep on it anyway. The bathroom was in desperate need of an update, broken fixtures, caulking, horrible water pressure.
