Quite displeased, we arrived to our room and the pillows from the bed were tossed about on the floor. My husband went to the front desk and we were given a 2nd room, however our wake up call to meet our flight was not transferred. We woke up late and had to make a mad dash for the airport. Breakfast was not served as we had to leave the hotel at 5:00am.

We stayed here last weekend and was absolutely impressed with the hotel. Our room was just what we expected, comfortable, clean and cozy. I was amazed at the assortment of Breakfast choices we had and delicious as well. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I always like to stay with Holiday Inn Express whenever I travel for Business but this particular hotel , the room walls are so thin you can hear everything next door like snoring, talking, from next room.
Note: I saw the same reviews from few other patron but didn't pay attention or didn't believed until I sleep here!
The Nightly Rate is really good except for the Noise is FREE..

There is zero sound insulation in these rooms. I heard every conversation in both rooms on either side of mine. The sound was as clear as if they were in my own room.
The selection of the breakfast items is poor and certain items are not cooked evenly.

The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Walls are very thin which made it hard to get to sleep because of the noise. With no refridgerator in the room and only one ice machine in the lobby, it was difficult to keep drinks cold. I typically love HI Express hotels, but would not recommend this one.

When you walk into the hotel it has a musty smell that is an automatic turn off. When asked about a Fridge and microwave i was informed they have to bring them in and they would. The issue was all the brought is a fridge that looked like it had been beat with a hammer and never brought the microwave. I travel alot and stay at holiday inn regualar and was very disapionted in the quality of this holiday in so i sitched to the Staybridge suites which is 100 times better. Would not recomend to anyone. Checked out late at the last minute and they still charged me an entire extra day because there was no maids there.

Quick check in, friendly and accommodating staff. Clean rooms and considering it was busy, hotel was clean. As an avid Gym user, additional exercise equipment would be great maybe some free weights and an elliptical. Definitely would stay again when in Syracuse.

My wife and I both enjoyed the friendly environment of the Syracuse Airport HI Express. The manager welcomed us and made us feel like family. The front desk staff were effecient, polite and professional. Our accomodations were clean, bright, quiet and relaxing. We'll being staying here again for our next trip.

Upon arrival, the temperature in the room was at 60. It took over 4 hours to warm it up to 70. That made it very uncomfortable and not relaxing at all.

Freezing in Syracuse, check is was warm and a pleasure.
Front Desk personnel were all friendly and very welcoming.
Got a room upgrade - without asking and was scheduled for one night only........ neat !
Breakfast good, eating area clean...BUT... construction workers loud and foul mouthed while I ate..........would have said something- but no ladies or kids were around.
Enjoyed my stay...........THANKS, see ya next time

I stayed here for 2 weeks for a business trip and was very delighted by the service and friendliness of the hotel staff. The food was great but can get slightly boring after 2 weeks but that's kinda normal. Overall, a great experience and I would certainly stay there again. (+1 for the Cinnamon buns every morning)

I've stayed here several times when flying out of Syracuse airport. Convenience and comfort rank top of my list. Staff is always helpful and cheery. Someone was really thinking when they put together a box at the front desk with directions to local amenities. I asked where the closest liquor store was to get a bottle of wine to go with the pizza I ordered for dinner. Front desk clerk pulled out the box and handed me a piece of paper with the directions already printed out. Kudos for the person who came up with this idea!

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. Pick up to and from the airport was very timely and upon our return the driver helped us load our car and get us on our way. They offered brushes and shovels due to heavy snow fall and helped many to dig out their vehicles.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
Satisfied customer.

I frequent this hotel for both business & pleasure and the staff & amenities are above & beyond my expectations every time! You must give it a try, especially if you are flying out of the Syracuse Airport. They have a great Park & Fly package. They are also very close to many great shopping malls & restaurants...so many great deals for Holiday Shopping! I can always expect a wonderful stay at this hotel!

How does one start when this property appears to be an old hotel recently changed to a HIExpress. No microwave, no refrigerator, pillows mismatched and not labelled, breakfast area looks like an afterthought (where food is). Staff said I should have requested a room with microwave/refrigerator. Every other HIExpress I have stayed at, including the new one about 8 miles north of this location. Should have stayed there this time. This location has a lot of local amenties and eating locations hope they can fix things. Pillows on bed were all soft. No work type desk, small table had coffeemaker and phone which took up more than half the table space. No convenient outlets to charge electronics, cellphones or laptops. AC unit blew into curtains heating/cooling the window area not the room, needs delflector plate like a lot of other HIExpress's. Chairs in room uncomforable. This and the most expensive HIExpress in the area.

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn in the past and found it a comfortable place to stay. In fact, we booked upcoming stays there prior to our recent visit.
Our problem was with the king sized bed. It was very uncomfortable to the point that neither my wife nor I slept very soundly. In addition, the sheets were very scratchy to feel. We are not thread count experts or snobs but this also contributed to the poor rest. It may have had to do with how the sheets had been laundered.
Otherwise it was a good experience. I did tell the desk person about the bed conditions when we checked out, but she offered nothing other than a comment that the mattress may need turning.
We are now reconsidering our upcoming scheduled stays at this Holiday Inn.

My husband & I stayed here for a night. The hotel location is very convenient to 81N/S. The accomodations including bathroom/shower were up to date and very clean, bed was comfortable and the Front Desk Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with directions and assistance as needed. We stay at many hotels all over the country throughout the year, this is one we would recommend.

The Holiday Inn Express at the Syracuse Airport is an excellent hotel. Very clean, great breakfast and wonderful staff. Location was perfect for the airport as well as shopping and dining in the area. I recommed this property to anyone traveling to the Syracuse market. Destiny Mall is also a great place for shopping and very convienent to the hotel. I will be back.

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in Holiday Inn since they sold us a very expensive room (nearly twice the normal rate) that was advertised as non-smoking. When we checked in, the staff member verified that we had booked a non-smoking room. This is very important for our family since my we are all allergic to cigarette smoke. However, when we entered our room after attending a family gathering, the room had obviously been used as a smoking room because the smell was awful. I did not get a restful night's sleep because the smell woke me up several times during the night. Both my husband and I left the hotel with horrific headaches the next morning. We payed an exorbitant rate for this room because Syracuse University had their homecoming/parent's weekend. There were no other rooms available in that hotel or any other, so the room could not be switched. Very disappointed and we will not be staying at Holiday Inn in the future.
