Only complaint is that I requested a King bed, my room was referred to by staff as the King room but when I got to my room it was not. The room was comfortable otherwise. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay The location is excellent, with 3 or 4 good restaurants/bars within walking distance. The rooms are being renovated as well as the lobby, and the newly renovated rooms are a treat. If you are going on a cruise, there is a shuttle available tot he cruise terminal for a small fee and and a free shuttle to and from the airport - about 10 to 15 minutes away. Also, there is a boardwalk/path a couple of blocks away along the causeway, along the bay. December 20, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay My husband and I booked this room using the Park and Cruise package. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was when we entered the front lobby. Very bright and modern. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Overall we were very pleased with our experience and plan on staying there in the future before our next cruise. December 15, 2014

The Breakfast area was under constant attention by a Staff member, her efforts resulted in a very neat , clean buffet area with excellent food offerings. The Hotel is undergoing a remodeling effort, but it is barely noticeable to the guests. December 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wish I could give a better review I'm a big fan of HIE, but I cannot recommend this location based on my experience. The bed was poor. The sheets were worn out. I could hear the guy next door snoring, and from somewhere there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke. At 2:00am, and not able to sleep, I packed my things and found another place to stay. The front desk apologized for my poor experience and assured me the manager would be giving me a call. I did not get a call. December 6, 2014
