I came to FL to have surgery at the Laser Spine Institute, so was looking for somewhere close / on Rocky Point, something not too expensive and with amenities such as breakfast. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was amazing (large variety and hot foods) the staff went above and beyond accommodating my needs (need of shuttle service from airport - even let me ride to airport to get my daughter who was to care for me the day of & after surgery), shuttle service from surgery center to hotel, they kept ice packs in the freezer for me. We will be staying at this hotel next time we come to Tampa.

My girls and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The folks at the front desk area were so kind and helpful with changes that needed to be made with our booking. One kind young man even offered to loan me his phone charger when I discovered I had left mine behind at our previous hotel. Great variety of breakfast choices and a fantastic location! Easy to get out to the Causeway for early morning walks... easy to get over to the Clearwater Beach on Hwy 60... easy to get on and off of I-275.... easy to swing over to St. Petersburg, etc...
I only wish I had requested a room overlooking the Tampa Bay!

We stay here the last night of our vacations always, great hotel, shuttle to Tampa airport means we turn in our rental car the night before and shuttle to airport for early flight. The hotel is located on beautiful bay with excellent restaurant right next door. Prices are the best of the whole vacation!! Beds and bedding to die for, love, love, love.

I appreciate someone taking time to make sure our room was sanitary, clean and ready when we had to fly in at midnight on a Friday visiting family there. We then went down to Auburndale for a 40th High School Reunion. When we had finished our visit we even decided to come back and stay the night with you again before leaving Florida so we could be well rested and it worked.

We were only here for one night, but the service and staff were excellent. Made us feel like we were part of the family.
Will definately recommend this property and wil stay again.

The room was spacious with every amenity needed. It overlooked the bay and the causeway. Gorgeous! The hotel was very clean and staff was attentive.

Party of (4) with (2) rooms booked the Cruise package, staying prior to cruise and after cruise with included transit to and from airport and to and from the Cruise terminal. No problems, No issues. Rooms were clean and ready quickly even though we showed up early. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Bahama Breeze Restaurant next door, walked over and had a great dinner/drinks/watched a little College football action came back and got rested. Good Breakfast buffet, coffee was not that good,but the hostess is fantastic. I will stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Pleasant hotel, pretty location, conveniently located and comfortable room. However, my issue had to do with a request I made well in advance - I have severe environmental allergies to perfumes, air fresheners, etc. and requested that my room not be sprayed with any odor containing products prior to my check in. Arriving directly from the airport around 5 pm, opening the door to my room, I immediately smelled the sweet odor of something in my room and within short order started to get congested. Talking to an attendant at the front desk, she assured me that a maintenance person would soon come to my room to assist me. A short while later, a maintenance man did show with some type of machine. Unfortunately, he could speak minimal English to explain how the machine worked or how long it would take. In the end, rather than relaxing in my room/hotel that evening, I had to leave the premises and find things to keep myself busy while I waited for the air to clear. When I returned to the room at approx 10 pm, the sweet smell was gone to be replaced with an ozone odor. While I didn't appreciate having to smell that scent either, at least I wasn't allergic to it. Emailing the hotel of my experience, I never received back any response. Bottom line...pleasant hotel, good location, easy parking, pretty views...BUT...if you have allergy issues...be careful.

You are supposed to call ahead and make a reservation for the Ride to the Airport. But they use a 3rd party to deliver this service. The day I had to leave a group of 20 shows up and wants a ride but the transit service only sent a van for the 8 people who called ahead. Then when the van shows up the group just pushed there way ahead of the ones who made the reservation and went to the Airport. The rest were left to find there own rides to the Airport. All we got was a "There is nothing I can do" from the front desk. We were late for our plane and got home late and missed planes everywhere. I would not use this Hotel unless it was the last one in Florida, and then I would still stay away.
