Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Only problem was I offered 500 points as a welcome bonus but they never showed up in my account. I tried to email the hotel via the link on the IHG website and it bounces back with an invalid address. Hope they fix this issue Gerald Miller June 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Functional accommodation for business Stayed here for business. Property looks very run-down and is located behind a closed down restaurant and next to a pet hotel. Lobby looks as run-down as the parking lot and exterior of the building. Rooms are of good quality and the refrigerator and microwave are very handy. Very poor gym--don't bother. They have an arrangement with a local Gold's gym which is 24-hours but it requires driving there. Shuttle service will take you to the local shopping mall for a choice of restaurants and shopping needs if you don't have a car. June 29, 2015

The hotel was close to the ball park which is why we were there. The staff was very friendly. We will stay at this hotel again when we travel to Tampa. June 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Concave beds Great location on Dale Mabry, close to many chain restaurants as well as the airport. HOWEVER.... not quite sure about the immediate area surrounding this locale: I wasn't quite sure if the motel next to it was open; the restaurant in front of it and near the Pet hotel was shuttered. The room: if it wasn't that I stayed there just because it was close to the airport and I had a red-eye, I would've gone somewhere else. The beds were the first thing I noticed: CONCAVE. Not flat, the mattresses look like they are 100 years old. I have stayed at a lot of HI Expresses around the country, and have preferred them. This locale single handedly has made me decide to no longer stay at HI Expresses. Staff was ok, not exceptional like I've experienced elsewhere. Room was clean. June 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty room The first room we were put in have some kind of foreign material laying on the pillows. They moved us and the bathroom of the second one had a dead bug in it. Our reservations were all screwed up and we did not get the adjoining rooms thar we were promised.. We did a $30 discount but ended up that we were charged for two nights and only stayed one. Had to call to get that worked out. Overall the worse experience ever at a holiday inn. I would never stay there again. June 19, 2015
