When visiting the Tampa area, I usually stay at this hotel, a few times a year. The staff are very friendly and treat you like a friend. The room is always clean and the breakfast is typical Holiday Inn Express, which I consider very good. The location is convenient, right off the Veterans Expressway, with several restaurants and a movie theater nearby. About 20 minutes to downtown and 10 to the airport. I will continue to stay here and would recommend it to others.

Very good location. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Only thing I would recommend is that housekeeping learn english, other than that, they were great!

We were only here for one night to grab a plane home after a trip to Orlando for a field hockey event. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by Jasmine. She was very friendly and helpful. Our plane was leaving early, so we were not able to take advantage of the free breakfast, but Jasmine told us all we had to do was ask the morning staff for a "to go" bag. The next morning the gentleman at the front desk was happy to oblige.
The room was very comfortable and clean.
My husband has stayed here two or three times before during trips to visit his brother who lives in Tampa and also had nice things to say about your hotel.
Your hotel is very convenient to the airport and and my family.
We will stay again.

Stayed here for the second time already and using this Hotel when flying out of Tampa. Staff is just great.
Always had a very clean and well maintained room as well.

The staff is excellent!
Everything else leaves a lot to be desired.
Room had burn holes in the carpet. The air conditioner unit was the noisiest I have ever heard. Had to turn it off to sleep.
The pillows smelled. The hotel just didn't seem clean.
Last time for me. Compared to other HI properties this one is inferior.
The only reason we stayed was due to the very friendly and helpful staff!

The woman that welcomed me (I forgot the pad of paper in the room I wrote her name down on), I believe her name was Michelle, is awesome!!! She is an asset to your organization!!! Hope that somehow you can figure out who was working the front desk during my check in (around 9pm) and give her kudos because she was the best!!!

I only stayed one night but I loved it so much that I was sad when we had to leave the next day to travel back to Fort Lauderdale. From the moment I entered the front door it was as if I was being welcomed and greeted by the beautiful decor and the artistic expression from the balloons that were in the lobby. I was told they were from a local artist. Very talented and very beautiful, I had never thought of balloons as being anything other than for birthdays until I saw these ones.
The desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. When I gave him my Priority Club reward card and Priority Chase Visa he allowed me to have a free beverage and snack and as many free cookies as I wanted that were in the lobby area! Very much appreciated after having been on the road for many many hours.
I don't remember the room number but it was right across from the exercise room. When I walked in my jaw dropped to the floor. It was gorgeous! Very tastefully decorated and with beautiful high ceilings I instantly fell in love with the room. The only thing wrong was that the closet door was very ratty and old looking compared to the rest of the room. My friend said they should put a mirrored door there, it would complement the room nicely. Perhaps they will read this and do that? :)
The breakfast was wonderful! It is very rare for me NOT to enjoy a free breakfast from a Holiday Inn Express. My friend didn't have an omelet because it only came with cheese and he hates cheese but it didn't matter because there are so many other things to choose from and he was very happy with his hard boiled eggs.
As I said I was very sad to go! We were expected back in Fort Lauderdale the next day and I talked about staying another night because I was so relaxed in that room but we couldn't so off we went. You can be POSITIVE that I will stay at this hotel if and when I ever come to Tampa again!

I must be special or just made to feel that way after staying here at this Holiday Inn Express. The manager and her staff are exceptionally friendly and professional when dealing with guests. The rooms and suites are always clean, crisp and comfortable with no adverse surprises. Community noise is nonexistant during evening and nighttime hours, ensuring a restfull night's sleep. As an early riser, I love being treated to a fresh cup of coffee and a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning to start my day off right.
