Great hotel for Tamworth, just off the town centre and walking distance to most things that are happening.
Downside is that this can be an expensive hotel in terms of standard room rate. There are other hotels with a warmer feel for less in the area. But this has the advantage of being near town. Yes I would stop here again, the help yourself breakfast is fine despite what some people say, from the selection I can make the following:
Beans on toast
Scrambled egg on toast
Toasted sausage sandwich
Egg, sausage, beans and toast
At home I have a bowl of cornflakes and coffee !
I say just use your imagination !!!!!

I was very happy with everything - the room, breakfast, staff friendliness, efficiency, etc. They were also extra helpful and caring after an accident I had nearby that was nothing to do with them. A hotel definitely worth the price. If you want fancy and luxurious, then you expect to pay a lot more. Yet this was more than comfortable and welcoming, 2 rooms side by side, free wifi, nicely located near the snow dome, and plenty of parking.

Firstly the immediate area offers shops/stores/restaurants aiding your stay if needed.
You then turn into the hotel drive which pleases as you see the vast lake with all the water birds especially with the sun over looking. The hotel is big yet stylish and the warmth you receive when entering the reception is
refreshing. There's adequate lifts to the floors and the room has clean lines. Good colour scheme. The necessary towels and refreshments. TV for use and where our room was overlooking the lake. Perfect!
Well lit hotel and the foyer has a couple of vending machines if needing or wanting a quick snack.
After a good night sleep and great shower we arrive downstairs offset to the reception area for our help yourself breakfast. Toast (white or brown) preserves, cereal, Scrambled eggs, beans and sausages for those on that diet. Croissants. Endless tea, coffee and juice.
Probably our fault in not mentioning that we were vegetarian and can't eat eggs and therefore did not get the meat free
option presuming one would have been cooked for us if they had forewarning. They did however get in soya milk
for us which was satisfying. Relaxing stay and extremely clean and yes, we would return. Professional outfit.
