The area was pretty dismal and the recommended restaurant in the area was really terrible. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very helpful though. May 27, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay near Taipe Only had a day prior to flight Taoyuan. Front Desk staff was excellent. Helped with directions to the Zoo, which is on the opposite side of Taipe. Bus and MRT ride to the zoo which was an inexpensive adventure but took some time to get there.. Airport is close but traffic made it a 30 minute taxi as it was rush hour for us. January 18, 2013

Hotel is about 15 minutes from Taoyuan (TPE) airport by taxi. Rooms are small but decent, clean bathrooms. CNN + 15 other English speaking TV stations. BYO soap and shampoo. Shop across the street at the Family Mart for snacks and beverages. December 19, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by courteous and efficient staff I stayed in Holiday Inn Express in Taoyuan, Taiwan for two weeks in October-November 2012. It was a very enjoyable stay. I found the hotel employees friendly and helpful. They helped me and my son carry luggages from the car to our room and asked if there were anything else they could help us settle in. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the city and the international airport is only 15 minutes by car from the hotel. From the hotel to Taipei by bus takes only 25-30 minutes and costs only NT$65. I find that not only cost effective but also convenient. November 8, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mittelklasse Hotel in schlechter Lage Das Zimemr war immer sauber und ordentlich.Das Frühstück leider sehr langweilig und nicht wirklich lecker. Das "Restaurant" hat Bahnhofshallen Charakter und ist immer überfüllt, viel zu eng und mit instabilen Stühlen ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Tiefgarage, allerdings nicht empfehlenswert, aber andere Parkplätze stehen nicht zur Verfügung. Das Personal wirkt recht freundlich, aber ausgerechnet der Angestellte mit dem ich zu tun hatte war unfähig und sehr schwach, was komunikative Fähigkeiten angeht. Die Dienstleistungen der Reinigung waren OK, ausser einiger unterschiedlicher Auffassungen der von mir ausgefüllten Formulare. ( Hemden gefaltet zurück angekreuzt, kamen aber auf dem Bügel) Ansonsten ist das Hotel OK, aber nicht besonders und definitiv nichts für einen Urlaub !!!! October 29, 2012
