Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Elevator broken, staff unaware, out of regular coffee at breakfast I found the elevator broken when I had my luggage at the elevator, on the top floor. Another guest and I struggled downstairs with our luggage. I went to get some coffee from my trip and was told they were out of regular coffee. They are located in the parking lot of a 24 hour Walmart, that has coffee. I called down to tell the desk staff the elevator was broken to which she replied "ok I have to call maintenance, and giggled." When I struggled down the stairs and she was standing there, I said "there is another woman on the stairs with more luggage than I have" to which she giggled, again, and did not offer to assist the woman or give any indicator that she intended to do anything, except call maintenance. Otherwise, a clean and comfortable hotel, just a horrible start to my business day. November 7, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean bright room and comfy bed. Our stay was very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was a plus and allowed us to relax and not have to travel for our meal. The location was also great. WalMart, Applebee's and several smaller stores were within walking distance. The indoor pool and spa were also very clean and welcoming. We would highly recommend this facility to friends and or family. Express check out makes departure quick and easy. October 14, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay in Tappahannock! Our expectations were exceeded during our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Tappahannock! The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable. We were there on a sold out weekend. During our stay we interacted with 3 different members of the front desk staff and they could not have been more welcoming, helpful, and friendly. It was a great experience...thanks! October 12, 2012
