We have stayed here many times and always love coming back. The staff are very welcoming and helpful when needed. Breakfast is ready and hot early in the morning. The workout room is adequate with fresh water cooler. Comp rides to the airport if you need it. Looking forward to our stay later on this spring.

We were not welcomed as Spire Elite members and the room was not offered for an upgrade. No mention of welcome points or water. The front desk could not answer any questions regarding the area, or recommend food delivery.
The cleanliness of the room was definitely not to the standards of Holiday Inn properties. The beds looked as if they had already been slept in, sheets extremely wrinkled, spreads tossed on, bed skirts uneven and also extremely wrinkled. The room was dark and dingy, and the though of the beds kept us up all night. We were so surprised, we took pictures!
At check out, we let the front desk know about the condition of the room, and we did not get so much as an apology. It was if the gentleman on staff did not care one bit. He just shrugged, and told us to have a safe trip. We were totally blown away by how uninterested he was regarding our room.

The walls were extremely thin and the doors slam every time someone comes in or out of their room. It was the noisiest hotel that I have stayed in in years.

The in-room internet was basically unusable. If someone plans to use a wireless device during the stay in the room, this property is not recommended.

The front desk checked another guest into my room and they opened the door while I was in the room in the bathroom! In addition, my key card was deactivated 3 times during my stay; the front desk did fix it but on the third time blamed it on me!

Will stay at Holiday Inn On our next trip out of town. The Hotel was in a good location and very good service. Room was a bit noisy.

We visited Phoenix, AZ for the first time this month. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Tempe. The room was nice, the beds great, and the night front desk manager was so helpful.
There are were a couple of things that could have been improved. The heating/air conditioning unit in our room (216) did not work well. With four people in the room, the temperature would rise and we were hot at night. We turned the a/c on low and high. In both cases it would just shut off and there was nothing we could do to cool the room. Since the outdoor weather was cool, we didn't make a fuss about it, but we should have. This needs to be fixed.
Also, when a family of four stays in a room, there should be four towels left in the room by the maids. They should have been able to determine after the first night that we had more than the three towels they originally placed in the room. Reservations and house keeping should work together. When a room has four occupants over several nights, the occupants should not have to continually ask for extra towels.
